Very interesting. Talking about Irish Bars. Years ago my wife and I went to Teneriffe and used to drink in a really popular Irish bar and one night I asked one of the bar staff who was English what part of Ireland does the owner come from. He laughed and said the owner was Spanish and knew if he called it the Irish bar it would do well.

I can’t believe that if you had to eat one type of food everyday for the rest of your life you would choose Chinese over British!! No more English breakfasts, fish and chips, Sunday roasts, pie and chips, toad in the hole and what about Yorkshire tea? Com’ on Lee, give your head a wobble son.

Lee it was invented in Glasgow in the 1970s by a restaurant owner to make a no frills curry. His name was Ahmed Aslam (I maybe wrong about his name) but his original recipe was chicken Tomato soup and Greek natural yoghurt. He served it with rice and/chips with 🫓 chapati. Since then it’s been developed into Britain most popular meal with added spices and ingredients.

Great Vlog again Lee and bringing back my urge to go to Santa Ponsa again..I have great memories of the place from 90's and 00's. Not sure what's up with TH-cam as I keep missing your posts even though I could of sworn I had hit the bell. Re-hit the bell again so hopefully its fixed.
Just love Santa Ponsa Lee. Fabulous vlog as always. I worked as rep for Airtours/Thomas Cook for 9 seasons in the area and it truly is the most beautiful place. I got really excited when thought you was going to visit pie n pint, my friends Sue and Andy run this bar. Good British food at very low price and the best home cut chips on the island. Loving this series.

When visiting Majorca we always stay in Santa Ponsa. A little tip for everyone, take a can of mosquito spray the second you walk into your room, Santa Ponsa is Spain's breeding ground for the beggars.
Santa Ponsa is my favourite place Lee along with Benidorm so love your holiday videos.

Swap Shop every time I grew up in the 70s 80s watching that on a Saturday morning nothing taken away from Tiswas though Sally James and Chris Tarrant oh and Spit The Dog. Great looking curries there Lee and a lovely island too.

Although I now live in Perth Aus, where I found your series and subscribed, I used to visit Santa Ponsa twice a year with the family and it was great. Beautiful place, great bars and restaurants and, of course, a lovely beach. Went down hill in the early 2010s but then picked up post covid.
Subbed to her channel, she comes across very well. Hooe you are well pal.

I was suprised to see beef curry at an Indian because Beef is not eaten because it contains cows' meat, and cows are considered highly sacred. Btw im from bolton born in Manchester so your on the naughty step with a bucket hat lol

Have been to Mallorca 4 times in my younger years, really enjoyed it, not been back for 26 years, I stayed in Peguera, Camp De Mar, Cala San Vicente, and Can Picafort Son Baulo hotel, visited all over the island, it was fabulous. ❤️

All you needed were a few raisins on your plate to have a full Vesta-style 1970s boil-in-the-bag curry, very Abigails party style, you will be trying cheese fondue next lol, when I stayed at Santa Ponsa that end where you ate with all the Irish bars was called the dark side by the bar owners the other side of the bay.
It’s a beautiful country to visit. As I have been to Alicudia There all great places to visit. Have a wonderful time in Majorca. ❤️
Mallorca is unique much better than mainland Spain but you wouldnt understand =) You would understand if you knew what Mallorca really is =) Soon with the upcoming spiritual awakening =)

You're actually doing alright Lee, one of my mates used to always have an omelette and chips when we stopped off at the local Indian restaurant after pub closing time !!
Omelette and chips…That was my Indian restaurant meal of choice when I was out with my mates in 80’s Nottingham. Then I moved up to CTM and just stuck with that for the rest of my life. Adventurous, with my food, I am not. Enjoy👍😊

Great video of one of my favourite places in Mallorca. Perhaps a visit to Valdermossa up in the mountains would be good, probably my favourite place on the island.

Loved Majorca, went a lot at one time when younger bit been meaning to visit again the past 20yrs lol, Santa Ponza, lovely chilled area ( aka older clientele) but as someone else said a bit hilly, magajuf was mad 😂 but I’ve heard it’s calmed down a touch these days ( well that’s not good lol😂) Saw Peter Stringfellow ( RIP) outside BCMs in magaluf last once, and of course tikka masala is Glaswegian 🏴

It’s important to point out that king James the first over there was James the first of aarogon ( Spanish king) in the 1200s and not James the 1st (6th in Scotland) aka the first king of the United Kingdom lol, just it might confuse some by just saying James the 1st 👍
You will enjoy cala dor, lovely beach and fantastic town filled with bars and restaurants, also the yachts in the harbour

Also the hotel we stayed at last year in Palma Nova had two electric car charge points. Globales Nova its opposite Son Matias beach hotel.
