I honestly love watching it all. Restocking, pricing, ordering, till operating, expanding and reorganising. It's so chill and therapeutic to watch!
It is possible to stock the shelves by holding down the place button, you don't have to click repeatedly. The same can be done to store items back in the boxes. You were right about this game, it is inexplicably addicting to play lol.
I like watching the organization, changing up the store, creating the isles and what not.
My favorite part of watching you play is when you talk about how you're gonna setup the shop. I play it myself and constantly try to optimize the layout... and also pricing: I try to keep really simple prices, often as simple as rounded up or down to the closest full dollar. This is both for my own convenience, but also to speed up the npc cashiers, as we literally hear them typing in each number at a set speed, and the fewer numbers per item, the faster.
Really big issue as well for me is the placements of of the checkouts in a way that allows for full lines, without taking up the entire shop... it definitely tends to get crowded!
The shelves that you have that are empty, you should use that for overstock. That way you don’t have to stock the shelves as much.
I have two suggestions Kage, first one is please try to fill the shelves from the top shelf down and not from the bottom up like you’re doing it, because the shelves will look way more fuller and better that way. Also to get the best out of the prices with inflation and deflation, you should try to buy more products when they go down to keep them as reserve, so when the price of that product goes up you win more money (even tho at this point it ain’t that big of a deal lol).
I like watching every part. You do stock 4X as much as I do, and I never run out of stock, so you might be making too much work for yourself. I just quickly order in the morning, stock, then sit on the register (with the extra guy) all day, running out to fill shelves with extra if there's a break. Less shelves for each product and more variety is the key to a big bankroll.
Ive found the best way to play this is to stock everything up and do any expansions before opening the store. Then you can just chill behind the register and not worry about restocking or a slow cashier. I.E. the main part of the game I play with the store closed and when it's open, it's like a chill mini game checking the customers out.
I enjoy watching the stocking and the repricing. It’s kind of difficult to know what I like least, I like it all.
You did this the hard way.... expanding your stock room adding racks and hiring a stocker helped so much

I have heard that shoplifter came from the old practice of actually lifting up a corner of the stall the vendors sold from to steal goods. Hence, "shop lifter".
I just love to see how the store expands to be honest! Its even addictive to watch, might have to try this game out. 😂

They should really add a more realistic cost hike to shopper equation. You don't go to a gas station to shop for everyday goods unless you absolutely have to because it is wildly overpriced, you go there for fuel /drink/restroom. That said, an overpriced supermarket that doesn't have a gimmick to pull in the gullible like Whole Foods would be a deserted wasteland because there would be no reason for most people to bother going there i.e. Kage's Supermarket. I know it shows dissatisfaction on the days end, but still too many people are showing up and the longer you keep having high prices the fewer and fewer people should enter the store.

To answer your question, I find all of it fascinating although I understand you have to cut some stuff for the video. I bought this game last night and played until 3am. 😂 I don’t know why this game is so fun but it is.

My favorite part of this game is seeing the stocking after a new license! Ik it can get tedious but i find orgnizing items to be very satisfying

I am enjoying how you are doing your videos just the way they are. I love your commentary and giving small glimpses into your real life (where you lived, where you worked etc). I dont find myself yelling at the screen like I do other TH-camrs who play this game. This is a very soothing game to watch.

I love the expansion part the best. Love seeing the store grow and hiring new people. The grind doesn't interest me as much because it's so repetitive. But seeing new store configurations and new employees excites me the most. 💖💖🥤🍿😀 💖💖
Im a late arrival but i like how you play, it's very to the point and no nonsense. I mean, occasional jokes and goofs are fine but when that's basically the *entire* video, especially when those jokes makes people ignore the instructions and they wonder why they don't know how to do something. Its annoying and im glad you take this game sort of seriously.

I just found ya for the first ti,e searching this game, i enjoy watching you do the whole thing i mean a little skipping is ok but i prefure to watch most of it i find it relaxing and gives me good ideas for my store

Flour is used for so many things... From making gravy, biscuits, any bread, cake, brownies, etc... To use as a thickening agent in soups, or can be used to make a type of "clay" for children to play with. Many uses.....

Leave the box open that is partial. That’s how I know which of my overstock box to grab first. I buy 10 boxes of every item when my back stock gets down to 2 boxes. Just wait until you spend 30 minutes to restock, plus the entire day your store is open. This game gets brutal.
Kage you going to be realistic about a soda price but you just remove the whole register😂
Normally I keep enough stock on the shelves the whole day so that I'm not stocking during store hours. Every morning I go through all the overstock in the stockroom before the store opens. Then I got through the store and order any items that are not fully stocked and put what's left over in the stockroom. Then I can spend store hours either running the register so that I can check people out to get more cashiers or design the store.
This game is extremely fun but I am gonna wait for the next update before I play it again. I been playing ship graveyard 2 for the time being. That's another awesome game.
You could use the expansion space as an instore storeroom

I do just hold the button down to stock. Also your delivery charges change with how much you order.
hello having the shelves like that is taking up room it's a good setup but when you get the freezers where you putting them in you keep the shelves like that have the shelves around the walls then you got the middle of the shop for the freezers

Make sure you’re checking your boxes before you throw them away cause you can throw away product if you don’t see it
To optimize your profits you should buy items when the price decreases, whether you need them or not. And not buy items when the price is up. You can store the extra in your expanded storage.
put all your products at market price they still buy them and you can use your number keys on your keypad to enter the price on the card reader

You can watch the market low prices for an item, buy it low, store it so you have alot when the price increace
What would happen if you put down both registers and then packed up the one with the employee? Would he automatically move to the empty one, or would he stay packed up?
well balance i love waching everything... could you use a expantion as a tempoary stock area.
Storage now has shelves available and an inside door after recent patch update.
I picked him up and put the second register close to the door and have the employee at the back register.
To me they should add a place on the computer like management and we can see comments from customers.. We can see what they couldn't find or what is too expensive or under priced. That would be something worth adding. Cause we see them saying something as there leaving or as there looking at products. but we don't always see it cause we're somewhere else in the store so we miss that comment.

This game is interesting in the fact that every day is different. Some days ppl buy all my juice and i run out and lose sp. Other days an old lady will come and buy 6 bundles of toilet paper lmao! Sadly, it's becoming a stocking sim more than anything, but my goal is to open up everything, get all licenses. I haven't hired a second cashier yet because i feel even 2 won't be fast enough.
i wish the developer would put some things in the game like numbers on the box , so u would know how many items are still in the box , the image of what is in the box on the side of the box , so when u stack then one on top of the other to know what is in the box under , with the new update that released today this thing would be very usefull , since u get racks , but when u put the items on racks u cant see what is on that rack if you do not take a box from the rack ... and if u have a bad memory like mine ... well lets say is a time consuming issue :D

What ever your avg cost is multiple that by 3 and make that your price some days stuff with sell some days stuff won't since the market changes.
Would be nice if you could make signs and put them on the shelves for what you have there or want to put there.
