All TH-camrs are different in style but for the Arable/Tillage videos you’re definitely the best and the most informative Andy. Keep up the great work. 👍🏻
We never had tillage on the home farm when I was growing up but that never stopped me loving combines and this time of year. I remember getting a guided tour of a brand new JD when I was about 12(was too excited to look for the exact model) - that cemented my love of the harvest! Was supposed to be going down to one of my friends who’s starting into barley at the end of the week but the localized lockdown that’s now in place has scuppered that. So thanks for these excellent videos- keep them coming
I love the farming combine video's . A bit different to my day on a Massey Harris 726 (bagger , no cab) then later in1960 we had a Bamford Clayson (bagger,no cab ) I think became New Holland summers were different then ! thank you for the video's kind Sir , makes my time left to appreciate the farm life and how it's changed and the way you explain to us all of how things operate stay safe , best regards , Will
I'm always impressed by the way you handle your machines, I know a certain youtube "farmer" that would fill his pants if he had to drive a combine, respect to you. And you have just made what has to be the youtube statement of the year: @14:38 "just getting out for a wee, thought I'd do a quick visual and check nothing is hanging off" Double respect! 👍👍
@Zach Thompson You seem to know exactly who I was thinking about even though I've not mentioned any names. All I said was "a certain youtube "farmer". And please don't think for a minute that the said certain "farmer" doesn't watch this channel or read the comments so if he would like to reply, I'm here. Oh, and please don't tell me what to think, when I want your opinion I'll give it to you first. Now, how am I going to sleep tonight knowing you think I'm a Horrible individual? Oh yes, very, very well.
Some of these kids are just off Farming Simulator , not for the fainted hearted these 35 FT combines , top man is Andy at Farmin life . Top channel ☝️💥☝️
I was wanting to know if you have a GoPro? And if you do, if you could try mounting your GoPro on the grain head, inside the feederhouse, in where the cylinder and concaves and the sieves and straw walkers and chopper and spreaders and the tailings elevator and both clean grain elevators are to get some video of all of that stuff in action? And if you can do a video on how your guys combine works and how the grain head works? And how you guys set and adjust the combine for wheat, barley and canola? And how to hook up the grain head?
Looks great 👌 we had just over 10t to ha even tho it was a terrible drilling season we managed to finish all the rape wheat yesterday earliest we have ever finished 👍 fantastic work hopefully it all goes to plan and nice and easy for you
The trailer seems very small for the harvester. very useful as the combine is equipped to know the load spilled in the trailer. We have a 2014 t660 and the biggest 17t trailer towed by the 6830 that we happen to fill it up to 21t.
I am very excited for the upcoming harvest videos, I will help a neighbor with harvest this year so it will be fun. On the 17th of August I will start an agricultural school so it is VERY exciting. Really good video Andy👍

@@mtl-ss1538 Yeah but weve had a very hard season here. Yields are far lower in some places than what they should be. People with sandy/gravel soil are getting like 2.5t/acre where people on the clay soil seem to be getting a bit better yields (closer to the 4t mark) since it held the water for longer during the drought. A very wet last autumn which caused something like 50% of crop to not get planted, the drought during spring held back the crops massively by putting them under stress and now a wet autumn, done some good for the crops but its quite wet and moisture is quite high in some places. Very little straw around since crops are a lot shorter than normal
Was waiting for this video. Great info on setting up the combine settings. Can you elaborate on the reasons for different settings for example compare wheat settings to barley. Cheers to a successful harvest.
Not sure if you took drone footage and whether you have details of yield in different parts of the fields. Would be good to see if the yield and footage compare visually.
Would bigger fit on thos narrow roads with the hedges? Genuine question not trying to be a smart ass. I'm not from Britain so that's just what I thought.
With all the different varieties of wheat you have do they go into the same storage bin or does each variety get its own bin?? Keep up the great work and great footage. All the best 👍🏼
Wow I usually wouldn’t watch a video like this from start to finish but very informative throughout!!! Nice 👍🏻 !!! Great yield 🤑😀 Just one question.... do ye have hilly ground to warrant the hill levelling system??

John Deere must be impressed with you guys . Great ambassadors for them .
Their machines are always immaculate, properly operated and well maintained in turn seem to provide very little issues 👍🏼
But that's with anny machine if you ask me if it just works the way you want it to your happy with it and full of love for it

Make sure you are well hydrated cause we have been harvesting and it’s been so hot plus the dust it’s unbearable
Brilliant video, thank you

Is the John Deere combine not capable of pulling its own header?
Great video Andy, that harvest george I assume not baler george? Good to see dad still coming in to do a bit .
Great video, glad smooth start for you.
Love the Harvest time
Can I suggest placing wasp nests in the corners of the field, this may reduce you pesticide bill by a lot
How you’ve changed, now have your own camera man too😂 , great video , have a good harvest 👍
Great video keep up the good work
“Hold You Back “ playing right at the end there
Hi Andy,
All the best for the rest of your harvest. Have you ever grown any corn on your farms? Do you plan to do it?
French regards.
Great video thanks for sharing how can 4 people not like this?
Andy that is a beast!!!
As long as the grain yield is there, are you bothered about amount of straw?
Andrew, what a piece of kit that combine is!! Typical John Deere quality. I noticed you weren't steering, all GPS controlled???
Very good music hold ya back by status quo at the end of the vid
Great Video safe harvest 👍
I prefer CLAAS but that's not a bad combine
Great 👍 video like the combined stay safe 👍☝️👍🏴🏴😎😎🚜🚜😷😷
Why such small trailers for grain why don’t you use the 18 ton or go bigger for grain trailer?

What do you use to film your videos and record audio?
How do you know when to empty
About bloody time!! 🤣
Hi Andy, where abouts are you based I don’t suppose you’ll have any straw for sale?
Me seeing this vid yesssssssssssssssss

Awesome
Looks a good yield and not bad straw, love to see a new X9 demo 😉
Does it enoy u that ye can't sow the headlands will this change after BREXIT
Will you be doing it live.. like last year? Xx
how do you get a combine harvester license to harvest fields
Have you not got the dog with you this year?
yes he is with me this week
Who does your filming out the combine
George
12.3% that's a bit too dry
How many acres and tonnes will you harvest on a good day
if I cut 40 hectares of wheat in 1 day and it yields 10T/ha that's 400 Tonne
@@Itsafarminglifeforme blimey In the late 80s a very good day would be 50 ton when we were farming
💪👌👌👍
i miss the Combine videos
How much acres can you do a day with that combine
100
Can’t wait to get harvesting are fields go and see the video on my Channel soon it should be out on Sunday
How old is the boy driving the tractor
You guys must have expensive tastes with all those John deeres
Wheres eric?
Cool
Why don't yous get a chaser bin for the 8 r
Money doesn’t grow on trees
Don’t see what benefit it would be unless they had bigger trailers / lorry bulkers that would take 2/3 loads from the chaser bin.
The start of the harvest vids:)
14:37 you said you were going for a wee but there no toilet
Why do you need a toilet to go for a wee??! You toilet!!!!!!
