My plan is exactly what Sir told. I will clear my state PCS and then try to clear UPSC. Will start a coaching for state Pcs in my state. You can make fun of me in comment section, but I want to earn a lot, but I don't have talent in any other field.
Good plan Even many state pcs officers also do the same They join the service The open coaching centres They hardly take two or three classes And all other classes are taken by some other teachers They just use their "pcs officer" wala tag as a marketing tool to attract students in his/her coaching And this trick works Even you doesn't need to take classes also Just arrange some special classes on weekends Give some motivation wala lecture there and some tips Thats it

An IAS is an unskilled job needs no specialisation(skill) like science, engineering, medical, law, economics, History, geography, literature, CA etc.The same is also reflected by their frequent inter departmental transfers. Just like unskilled workers, India also needs unskilled Officers. No skill results no employability after retirement. Upsc prepration keep very talented youth unemployed.
The job profile of an Ias officer is such that an specialist would struggle badly. It demands a generalist perspective. Also they are not unskilled they are professionals with high managerial, administrative and decision making skills. But yes not everyone should go for it.

I think sir , four main reasons why ppl are mad for government service… 1.. job near home mostly in state service , which enables you to deliver duties towards your parents who becomes old when you enter to job…MNC jobs are located in metro cities where most parents donor move as their rural background so don’t like cities… 2…. High value in marriage market which will not change soon becz in rural India society knows mostly government job 3…. Job security which brings mental stability and no body can kick you out if face any tragedy like disability by accident 4… Pension in old age as old age pension coming back in many states , which makes old age safe … Despite all this thing I wd advice you to change this scenario and create robust pvt job ecosystem through small businesses like usa or west , so that all loopholes can be removed and even rural youth get them in vicinity …

UPSC aspirants bhi hamare samaajh me bohot bada role nibha rhe hai. Whenever i am having a dull day, doing nothing productive, and i am feeling bad that i wasted whole day. Then, i just look at the life of my UPSC aspirants friends who have literally wasted many years of their life. And, then i start feeling happy that i am much better than them. An IAS is an unskilled job needs no specialisation(skill) like science, engineering, medical, law, economics, History, geography, literature, CA etc.The same is also reflected by their frequent inter departmental transfers. Just like unskilled workers, India also needs unskilled Officers. No skill results no employability after retirement.
Upsc prepration keep very talented youth unemployed.
The job profile of an Ias officer is such that an specialist would struggle badly. It demands a generalist perspective. Also they are not unskilled they are professionals with high managerial, administrative and decision making skills. But yes not everyone should go for it.

Most ppl in the comments who are speaking in favor of sarkari naukri are those who are preparing for sarkari naukri and don't actually have one. I was one of them once. Those who have actually managed to get a sarkaari naukri actually know the reality of it and after working for 4-5 yrs, completely change their views on it. Seen this happening for me & 100% of my sarkaari naukri peers

I think sir , four main reasons why ppl are mad for government service…
1.. job near home mostly in state service , which enables you to deliver duties towards your parents who becomes old when you enter to job…MNC jobs are located in metro cities where most parents donor move as their rural background so don’t like cities…
2…. High value in marriage market which will not change soon becz in rural India society knows mostly government job
3…. Job security which brings mental stability and no body can kick you out if face any tragedy like disability by accident
4… Pension in old age as old age pension coming back in many states , which makes old age safe …
Despite all this thing I wd advice you to change this scenario and create robust pvt job ecosystem through small businesses like usa or west , so that all loopholes can be removed and even rural youth get them in vicinity …

Exam crack krlo aur job mat Karo ye to apne keh dia lekin kya ap ye nahi jante ke maximum lower middle class ke log in exams ki tayyari krtey hai and job lagna = ghar me Paisa ana aur financial stability, marriage, etc BUT.. Khud coaching dena aur ekdum se ghar me Paisa ana is not practically possible.. Kab classes chalegi, kon famous hoga, kon nahi, ghar me Paisa ki dikkat, Umar badhti jana... And, collect all the evidences that proves you gave the exams and got selected, like your admit card, roll number in pdf, etc. And, then use them as your credibility, and start teaching in a coaching institute and with the experience you will have gathered, use it as your legitimacy, and start you own coaching and earn more than you'll ever be able to earn through a government job.
