Istana Berkebaya Fashion Show Celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day

Menyambut hari ulang tahun ke-78 Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, para menteri perempuan dan istri menteri berjalan di atas panggung sepanjang 200 meter di depan Istana Merdeka, Jakarta Pusat, Minggu (6/8) dalam acara peragaan busana bertajuk "Istana Berkebaya". Acara ini merupakan hasil kerja sama antara Kementerian Sekretariat Negara dan Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Presiden Joko Widodo dan Ibu Negara Iriana turut hadir untuk menyambut para peserta dengan mengenakan pakaian adat Betawi.

Celebrating the 78th Indonesian independence anniversary, female ministers and ministers' wives walked on the 200-meter runway in front of the Merdeka Palace in Central Jakarta on Sunday (8/6) as they took part in a fashion show entitled "Istana Berkebaya". This event was a collaboration between the State Secretariat Ministry and the Jakarta Provincial Government. President Joko Widodo and First Lady Iriana were also present to welcome the participants in traditional Betawi attire.
