Attack on Titan is an anime that comes once in a lifetime. Whether you were there for the story, the characters, the action, the animation, or even the music, there was something there that caught everyone’s attention. That’s why the anime’s ending is such a big deal. We’ve been waiting for this ending for years, and it’s so bitter sweet. It truly feels like there will never be an anime like this again. That of course is not true, because just as there were anime like it before it was created, there will also be anime like it afterward too. But until we find those anime, we’ll anguish in a world without our favorite Titans. But we can at least be glad that the series was capable of reaching its conclusion, which many other shows never are lucky enough to do. And so, to celebrate such a wonderful series, and see it off in a way that honors the series that’s brought us so much joy and sometimes pain, we’re going to cover the entire timeline of they Attack on Titan world. So sit right back, let’s get into it!

107 Facts about Monster high
Can you guys please make 107 Facts about Welcome to the Wayne
I just realized that 80% of humanity was wiped out because 1 pig escaped
Never let pig escaped again dude come on wake up
John wick type shiii
80%? I just looked up tge aot map out of curiousity. Youre saying that much of the world pop lives in africa? That all the other continents combined make up 20%? I never watched this show, but i dont buy that
Just a correction about the Ymir/pig scene; we actually see in this latest special that Ymir was actually the one who freed the pigs
Yeah, good catch
It's an subliminal comparison across 2000 years. Ymir free's the cattle and 2000 years later Eren considers everyone inside the walls to be cattle waiting to be slaughtered.
"And just like that, everything changed. At that terrible moment, in our hearts, we knew. Home was a pen. Humanity, cattle."
- Eren Jaeger (Opening Narration)
@@Young_Dab awesome catch!!
It’s not a happy ending, but it’s the correct ending. Humans will never have peace.
I'm still sad for the ending since the manga.
War never changes
The way you've weaved the intricate histories and fates of the characters together is nothing short of artistic. Hats off to you for tackling this colossal task!
Höhöhö colossal
note: The last episode/special heavily implied in the beginning that Ymir freed the pigs not by accident but by choice
10:30 I find it more probable that Grisha Jäger's first son is named Sieg [ziːk], which means "Victory" in German
Who else loves Attack on Titan?
I do.
Absolute masterpiece 💯
It was enjoyable up til the Marley invasion for me. Everything after was meh. The last arc was just awful.

Me
When Sasha died, I knew things were gonna be bad.
After Sasha’s death AOT became depressing
@@theemanuella9456i am so thankfully I'm not the only one that got super depressed after her death, queen deserved better 😔
It's amazing to see everything summarized as you've shared, we waited so long for this story to conclude and I'll miss it and will most likely rewatch it again from the beginning this December holiday, but wow, what a ride these passed few years have been. I started watching AoT in 2017 but I've never been so invested in a story.
I agree, the raid on Liberio arc was my favourite too. Getting to watch Eren bring the pain to Marley was so awesome but you also had a new found understanding of the poor eldians being used by Marley to destroy their own kind, so it was just all sorts of conflicting emotions for me. I loved it though, & the music during the battle with the War Hammer was fantastic too. Sublime!
Yeah historia and Ymir are just good friends 😅
Also historia got strategically pregnant so she wouldn't be used.
Eren knew he couldn't end all wars. He achieved his goal which was for mikasa and Armin to die of old age in peace.
Ymir Fritz intentionally let the pigs go, it wasn't an accident
Just imagine Eren's mom, Carla waiting for Eren to arrive in the afterlife.
I don't think Carla is in hell tbh 😅
Armine didn't punch a hole in eren teeth. Levi used the thunder spear to make a hole in eren teeth.
In the manga he did, idky they changed it in the anime, but ig it rlly don’t matter
@@zaarwhite7907no, it’s exactly the same in the manga. Levi used the thunder spear.
@@zaarwhite7907Everything comes full circle in AOT. Levi kicks Eren's tooth out the first time they fight (Eren getting beat up) in the courtroom and the last time they fight Levi blows his tooth out again.
@@zaarwhite7907 not at all. in the manga levi still shoots the thunder spear, armin and eren's fight is actually shorter
My favorite moments in AOT is in Season 3 when The scouts attempt to take back Shiganshina and Captain Levi fight the Beast Titan for the first time. That whole season is forever a masterpiece!
This show would always be a masterpiece, 10/10 I swear💯💯
Definitely the rumbling. Seeing Eren become a massive walking titan and the sheer destruction of the army of walking titans is chilling but wicked cool to see animated and when he emerged as a Colossal titan I was like he still has more in the tank! I enjoyed every episode of the anime and it just got better every season.
There will never be or never have been a tv show like it
THANK YOU!
I like the show fine, but I could never even finish reading the wiki summary of the absolute HUGE lore. Good crash course.
Dawg its crazy to think this is a whole 10 years in the making we are watching go by in 30 minutes holy moly!
Attack on Titan will go down in history as the best anime ever. Period.
Nope FMA Brotherhood
@@voodoovixen666 LOL no bro. Not by a large margin. FMA Brotherhood is good though.
Being the best anime is subjective though, cause I'd argue Evangelion is
@@renerufonjr.5359Not really. I never watched that anime before but can tell you in terms of stakes, consequences, emotional attachment to the characters and art design and much more Evangelion doesn't come close to Attack On Titan.
You can tell you got tired of doin this video. Once you to the attack on Marley you skipped the entire second half of the 4th season and went straight to the hour long special episode. Hilarious
I didn't understand a thing, and usually I do after watching one of your recap videos. Goes to show how complicated this story is
I find it a little silly to say something and then be like “this however is fabricated history” like okay which part? All of it? Some of it? It technically shouldn’t be part of the timeline, maybe say “they fabricated history to do this” but now I’m here like confused as to specifically which part is fabricated and which is part truth. Because you put it on the timeline, so some of it should be true, otherwise it wouldn’t be on here.
So whose the original Channel Frederator or The Amagi? Their narrations are a pretty much the same
What makes Attack on Titan special is that you don't know what's going to happen, next.
Favorite moment: Erwin's speech in season 3.
LEVI SHOT A THUNDERSPEAR AND THAT BROKE ERENS TEETH
Amazing video, thank you so much for putting it together!
Ymir didn’t leave the gate open by accident, she did it to let the pigs be free like she wanted but she was a kid and didn’t funny compared the consequences.
My best arc was the taking back of shiganshina in part 2 of Season 3: eren vs reiner/ the scouts vs reiner,/ scouts vs the beast titan, eren&armin vs the colossal tita/, levi vs the beast titan/ levi's choice and finally reaching eren's house and discovering the truth tat the enemy was humains beyond the sea... Big revelations we weren't expecting!!! That was huge and epic in terms of battles and the origins of the whole story!!!!
“Hey, if we crossed the sea, and killed all of our enemies, after that, would we finally be free?”
Great work
I got you guys, ima make one equally as good trust
Video was great up until we reached current era. Skips over Levi's story before he joined Erwin. Skips over the history (manga side story) that shines some light on the creation of the ODM gear. Skips over some stories that at the very minimum offer character building between the main characters. Probably more that I can't remember off of the top of my head. Maybe they aren't that important but they;'re still a part of the story as much as the outcome of the world during the credits that didn't have to be there.
Agreed
It's a timeline not a plot summary.
Thanks to Isayama-sensei who is able to write this incredible series. Now, I got mine with my own plot twist and characters backstory inspired from SNK :P
I thought I wanted to know more about AOT but less than five minutes in and I'm like, "Nah....I'm good."
To real
CURRENTLY THERE ISNT A BETTER ANIME THAN AOT
Amazing
I wonder what property prices in shiganshina are like
I just finished watching the timeline on The Amagi tf
If Ackermans aren’t affected by the memory wiping powers of the founder, why did Levi and Mikasa forget everything?
They were not alive when that happened. It was their ancestors that were alive during that time. The knowledge also was not left for them since the government tried to wipe out the families that were not affected by the memory powers of the founding titan.
@@ashleydavidson7802 Thanks for that Ash! Were their resistant abilities to the founder ever mentioned ? How did they come about and why was it so effective ?
@ReedJacobs Correction: the Ackermans are technically subjects of Ymir/Eldians, but they were scientifically modified to be able to resist the memory manipulation. They were the sword of Karl Fritz at the beginning.
@@ashleydavidson7802 I see. So that’s why they so great at killing
The way you end every sentence is just infuriating
I watched AoT YEARS ago and as compelling as the story was, life happened to me (as it does to us all) 😅 Not sure if I’d be as comfy with the gore as I was when I was younger get, so I’ve been trying to find good videos to summarize the story for me. Hope this explains things well!
Need to update this in a few months...
Why? Something new?
@@skateboardcz lil bro is from the future
I dont think King fritz made any pure titans outside the walls, all the titans outside the walls were political prisoners turned into titans by marley
One of the greatest shows of all time alongside Death Note, and just like the Death Note the ending is the complete opposite of what one would hope to expect.
It was quite the butterfly effect this story is from one pig being finished in 80% of the pop ulation dieing
ATTACK ON TITAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
truly peak fiction
If the world has different beliefs there will be no world peace
-isayama
Armin does not punch a whole into his teeth Levi shoots a spear to make that whole
the amagi voice? 😮
Ymir let the pig out on purpose
So i am currently watching attack on titan and there is a small inaccuracy on your account. Erwin did not reject levis choice so much as he was having a dream he was in class raised his hand then erwin proceeded to say how do we know there are not other people outside of the wall. But at this point in the video you just say Erwin rejected levis decision. That was not the case and levi said it himself as well.
One final sasageyo
"Reiss" is pronounced like the word "rice" in english.
why this video is as same as one that amagi recently uploaded including voice actor?
They both are the same person. Amagi owns this channel too
Wait who made the titan while ymir was a shifter?
So wait technically Ymir is from Marley but her kids are half Marley half eldian
Some erroneous facts here and there but nevertheless a great video.
Im not into anime by any means but aot is an exemption
Already saw it on the Amagi channel lol
Eren should've done what Armin assumed and destroyed all of the world's forces with the Rumbling.
Doesn't solve the titan issue, way worse ending than canon one.
The ending was 68% good personally
Did you copyright amagi?
Sadly like most things not gaming i stayed away from the ani e hype started byvthis and thevearlier tv hype with beeaking bad. So badically ive missed 10 years of media and only hid in the gaming region
“The anime hype started by this” yeah it’s not a animation style that’s been around for decades upon decades or anything
i hated the way you said mikasa though😭
Show
My head cannon that might be actual cannon and is kinda obvious is that this was just the beginning. The kid at the end is going to fall into the water inside Erin’s tree and gain the power of the Founding Titan, starting the cycle of human versus titan (or human versus human) once again.
Me remembering that armin is now the commander of the survey corps
some reasons i lost intrest after 2 seasons. i don't like the way story is going
Thanks. Spared me of such a boring plot.
Can u do The Lion King Timeline?
How can anyone hate this story when it’s capable to convert “anime haters” to anime enjoyers/normies?
The fact that it goes from a thrilling apocalypse to a convoluted story about politics, imo
@@devildazai that’s for those who wish to keep a good story inside a tiny box and call it just another typical anime. I’m glad it’s not.
Hehe, funny screaming, suicidal child discovers he can eat people, and then destroys world after having daddy issues
?
Eren actually didn't have daddy issues.
Grisha's first child, Zeke, on the other hand...
@@Gestrid he killed his dad, manipulated him, and for quite a while he didn’t scene know he was the one who killed his own father
No disrespect though, I see ur point
@@Gestrid He just had issues

thanks for the recap. Now I don't have to watch the anime
Don’t rob yourself of that experience
@@Kyeuss I've watched 2 or 3 seasons, then read some 50 manga chapters, after which things started to get really dumb for my taste (the titans' origins) so I dropped it. Now that I know how it all ends, I'm glad I didn't waste my time on it
@@iCanHasRandomness haha ok Ron yourself of the experience then 🤣
@@KyeussWho would feel this joy when they stated that they got bored of the story?
@@iCanHasRandomnessWhat horrible excuse for an horrible perspective. Attack On Titan is the best anime that you will ever lay your eyes on. Respectfully.
Ymir was dumb bro
She was a child that was manipulated in life and death

Spoiled myself. Watched this before even touching Season 2. I think I’m good. This was more than enough. Now for another couple of years for another anime to pop up and have these guys summarize! Wooo!
I liked it, but i could not love ot because it is not hallal and from a muslims s perspective it is a show made by infidels!
Tbf you could only consume Islamic media.
Soulless, boring and rushed narration ZZZZZzzzz
Were you the same person that made a video about the history of Eldia which ranked all the past kings?
Ymir definitely did not ”accidentally” let the pigs out😂
