As a Timorese guy, I'm so proud of her. She is such an inspiration. Being an Indonesian in a country like Australia with a lot of racism isn't easy, let alone being in politic. So proud of her.
She lost the election in 2020 for the NT Legislative Assembly. However she won in the 2021 council election (smaller role) and is now still serving as a councillor
What a power house with such beautiful heart, may she keep spreading her love and food and hopefully one day people will realise that we need people like her in power.
Sometimes to get voted in political people do a crazy thing but I like amye un how she do it without using many money and usually go to in the field to do her politic it's better than told people to do it without go into the field.

She never says she's from East Timor, but Timor Island in general. In another part, they refer to her as being originally Indonesian, so I guess that means she is from the western part of Timor.
