A blueberry.
LOL at the dad joke 😁 I have had gooseberries (love them), but I haven't had any of the others before. The gooseberry thing is sort of controversial because there are berries known mostly in some areas of the US as Cape gooseberries, but they are actually what we call ground cherries or golden berries. I know this because I ordered the seeds one year and was very disappointed when what I ended up with was an annual (in my climate) ground cherry instead of a gooseberry bush! Live and learn lol
I have not but we do have Golden Raspberries in our yard! They are amazing! I can’t wait to grow more when we move out of the city! Yum!!!!
However I live in Green Bay which is near Door County WI and they are known for the Tart Cherries. We love picking them so much and making yummy things with them. They are actually going to start picking them this weekend. I bet these smell amazing!
I have tried all of them ) andgooseberry/strawberry jam is always made in our home, it's so so so delicious.
I have never tried those to eat but gooseberries are also called amla and amla oil is fantastic oil especially in your hair. I live in Maryland so I will have to try to find somewhere to find some. Maybe an Asian market 🧐
Black Raspberries grow wild near the Quarry we swim at (it hit a water main and now is a watering hole), I grow black currents (oh yumm) and of course gooseberries make the most awesome jam (mine are green--I hope my bush gives me some this year). LOVE berries!

My grandparents had a gooseberry bush in their yard and they were always so sour. They also had tons of raspberry bushes and fresh berries are always the most delicious!

I love berry picking. As a kid living in UK, I remember walking down roads and getting to pick raspberries and blackberries on common land. They always tasted so good. There is a walk near us now that used to be a farm, and if you look around while walking, you can find raspberry plants, passionfruits, peach trees and so much more.
I remember when I first watched you - you stressed about cutting and Bradley was all "its fine" and now you've reversed and he's stressing

Red currants are cool too! I grew up with goosberries! There's also Logan berries, boysenberries.... Oh so many!!!!
Just got back from the store and bough blueberries. YUM. I LOVE the blueberry inside with the leaves and the one on top that you piped leaves on that one too. Super super cute!!

Love it! And I love that it didn’t discolor.
From a young age I was able to enjoy the fruits of Michigan all the way to Florida. We handpicked because most of the fruits were too expensive for my widowed mother. Cherry picking was my favorite and every time I get to eat a bowl of them I reminisce. If I could pick a fruit I have never picked by hand it would be Pineapple in Hawaii.
Pineapples are vampires, you'll need gloves. We've grown pineapples from the tops of the ones we have eaten.

Gooseberries are delicious they're grown all over the South. If you're ever in the Carolinas try jam yummy. Awesome soap

Try drying the black currants and use them in your tea. I actually have red and black currant bushes in my garden. Red currants are great for baking, eating, making jam, smoothies or syrup since they are a little sweeter, but black are great in teas since they have kind of a herbal taste to them.

Gooseberries are a green fruit and are usually not nice to eat raw, they are much better cooked in a pie or jam. There are Chinese Gooseberries which are orange but are covered in a paper feeling covering. Love your soap and that you pick a weekend adventures

Mmmm blueberries. Our blueberries won't be ready until August, but we're nearing the end of strawberry season now. My niece and I picked almost two flats of strawberries last week and did up about eight litres of strawberry jam and strawberry banana jam yesterday! I'm actually going picking again tomorrow if the fields are still open. I want to make more jam and freeze some for smoothies.

You two are funny. 😊. Love Gooseberrys, makes great wine and jam! Most of the berries do. Had a Black Raspberry patch in my old house. Hugh berries. Bees love the flower stage. Very nice soap. Bradley's right you need a taller cutter or cut by hand. 👍

I have a question I just started making cold process soap. Do you buy ur colors And fragrances according to the soap u wanna make it do u buy the colors and fragrances that u like and come up w a soap style afterwards?
Can go either way. Colors I just like to buy one of everything. Sometimes I have a soap in mind that I shop for specifically. Lots of times I’ll browse fragrances to get inspiration
