Ken is such a bada$$ he doesn't even need a file handle to file up three or four chainsaws! Quality content for folks learning to hand file. The dremel is faster, but the file can be used anywhere and anytime.

Well done Ken! When your not at a bench with a vise, it is really valuable to know how to hand file. Combination of sight, feel and sound. The file will tell you when the tooth is sharp as it just stops digging. I'd rather spend a few minutes touching up a chain that just ain't quite right than try to fight a dull saw. GNI

When I am hand filing, I have several files that I zip the rat tail off and thread a die on for a few threads and thread a small nut on. 50 years ago I run the rat tail of the file into my hand , to this day I remember it and still feel the pain.

Hey Kenny, the "G" is for Gucci...😎 My 395 had the same "Screw Loose" issue due to the previous owner running her till a bunch of her fillings fell out!
3 of the four recoil cover screws were basically held in by mild friction. The air box screws were only still present due to gravity! My solution was to have my friend
(mil. spec. aviation machinist) professionally install heli-coil inserts and I replaced the old screws with new O.E. fasteners, coated with blue LocTite.
Hoping she cooperates with said repair! So, Chris, I'm surprised you had the patience to wait for Kenny to sharpen those chains with that archaic tool! LOL

Now I have cheater glasses in my tackle box, chainsaw box ( I also keep them in old peanut butter containers) and in the workshop.
