Can you imagine the fear gelflings had seeing the Garthim for the first time and moving forward? I mean even when they figure out how to battle them I'm sure they felt almost certain death was upon them
The creature design in this movie was 2nd to none, the Garthim being the absolute best - The whole world they created looked fantastic. I, personally consider it the greatest "puppet" movie ever made. It is also beatiful yet very dark fantasy tale. I will always have a soft spot for this film.
I so hope season 2 of the show happens, I want to see the cast's reactions to the first Garthim attack. Season 2 should be subtitled as "The Garthim War".
Sadly there will be no season 2 because the disgusting movie cuties had a 2nd film that reeked of controversy against violence of young girls. Netflix does that all the time.
She can see multiple outcomes but she can't always predict which one will happen cause I'm sure looking into futures or foresight of any kind is probly a jumbled mess of scenarios
So what's the status of a second season for AoR? All those fantastic sets and puppets, it would be such a waste not to be able to create more with them.

I suppose they could have staggered the legs, so that the performer raising his right leg would raise half of the legs on BOTH sides, and the other half connected to his left. I've seen some robotic insect toys do that and it's decently convincing. Then again if they're partly made of Gruenaks, maybe that's where the legs went..
