You can never stop birds from flying over your head but you can stop them from building a nest on your head. In the same way you can't stop people from talking about you but you can only control your own actions and reactions .king

(Otherwise I forget and then they can do it again. So I just need to remember to keep my boundaries and shields up and protect myself that way (it’s a family thing so can’t really get out of it) so grateful for this message! 😍

I am God's creation and each one of us is a creation of God...some however have consciously strayed and do harm to others...their minds are corrupt, beware of those... but don't give them the power to hurt you or harm you. Never fear! You are the creator of your life, so create your life on purpose and don't live an unconscious life that creates itself without your guidance. Create perfection and create with Love in your heart. And as this video tells us, don't give the evil ones the power of your attention, focus in your loving heart and the thoughts that come from it only. What helps me to forget about what the imperfections of people’s actions towards me is to keep my mind on my goals and not on the slights from people. My goals: to serve people as a nurse and be the best nurse I can be. When I am busy thinking of how I can better serve people as a nurse and as a family member and friend I do not have time to think about about all the slights from people.🙏🏻✌️❤️

I'm hopefully on my way to becoming a nurse. I want the same it's just slightly different for me. My family and I don't really get along and to be honest I believe that has been one of the most important factors on my success. I m 32 and having the love and belonging as a child would have shaped my life for the better in so many ways. I lost a relationship that I helped ruin not intentionally, but from all the trauma I endured. When he left he took my mind with him. Everyone around me doesn't seem to understand the struggles of being trans and how difficult it is to find someone who will love you outside the dark. I don't know what my journey brings hopefully not more heartache and pain.

Therefore I would curse all sorts of words in under the sun and it took years. Until I came across to another video of Swami that these things do happen like or not. Since then I wrote all their names and tear up the page and burned it, and I am freed from the past even if it comes up I dismiss it immediately. Thank you for reminding me again. Now I’m prepared forever...

Resentment makes us "zombies" for our minds become busy only with resentment. Thus, forgetting about sunshine, that is, life, living. The problem is this state is an automatic physical response, not an autonomous choice.
The million dollar question: how to let go of resentment? Healing comes from more than positive thinking.

    • @onlyone8337

If I may say, it is a pessimistic perspective.
You see, Swami Mukundananda believes there is solution when he recommends never to argue, even if being right since one's goal should be self-development and spiritual uplifting. Nevertheless, I believe the solution is more complex.
The question is: how to find / make the solution happen?

Right now I am dealing with a person who treats me with such disrespect that I just go ballistic every single time I have to deal with them! It's killing me. I am surprised I haven't had a stroke. And while I do hear these words, it is SO, SO hard to stop the cycle of it all and to let go of all of the pent-up anger and resentment because she keeps doing this and just delights in it! It is all making me so crazy.

i reached Samadhi before. I was meditating on Love and Forgiveness. I visualised a scene where I meet anyone that I hated, resented, disliked or had done me wrong in the past. One by one, I met them, told them I forgive them, and sent them a ray of golden light of love. I imagined a ray of golden light that originated from above, it is infinite and filling me up, and since that love is infinite, I felt generous to give it to the person that I was forgiving. I did that for many people, and after some time, I felt an explosion in my mind, I was filled with joy and bliss.
