I was able to shrink them significantly to the point where there were no symptoms. As far as how long it took, I’m not sure 🤔 because my doctor appointment was a year a part. But within that year I noticed my symptoms fading considerably. The best answer I can give is that it takes as long as you are consistent.
Congratulations to you for taking care of your womb and starting the journey. No, I don’t take any supplements at the moment because my body hasn’t given me any indicator that it’s deficient. I think eating a wide range of whole natural foods plant based ingredients helps because when one eats the variety of God’s Garden you generally receive all the nutrients you need. The best way to determine is to have blood work done to find out if you are deficient in anything and base your supplement regimen (if any) on that.
My symptoms are gone and some of them have disappeared and others have reduced by 75%. It’s important to get regular ultrasounds so you can see the progress that you’re making.
I haven't eaten meat in over 20 years and was just diagnosed with fibroids this month. I had pain and heavy bleeding throughout my life. It got better with less meat, but I am having problems again now but I'm vegetarian/vegan. ??? Is something being hidden in the food supply?
Great question! The meat is only one part of the challenge. Let’s tackle the meat first and then get to the rest. The majority of the meat that is sold in the supermarkets are factory farmed. Their diet is a mix of grains and hormones to ensure the meat industry keep costs low and the animals grow quickly for slaughter and sale. When experiencing fibroids, as part of a holistic plan women are told to stop eating animals and animal products (dairy) mainly due to the hormones. So while stopping meat and dairy may help, it’s not the total picture. What do those factory farmed animals eat? They eat “feed” that is grain based. The grains are also a problem. The grains that the animals are fed are often GMO. The 🧬 genetic modification is there to help the seeds grow into grains at a faster pace than nature intended. So when the animals eat GMO feed ie GMO grains they are also stimulating extra growth inside their bodies. Animals like cows who are fed grain are also being forced to eat against their natural design - they are designed to eat grass - and lots of it! So even if a woman stops eating meat and dairy but continues to eat grains like wheat, corn, oats, rice, etc (bread, pasta, pancakes, crackers, donuts, cookies, granola, anything made with GMO grains) her body can receive the genetic encoding of extra growth. Her body is impacted and Thus the fibroids are also impacted with the extra growth signals from the digested food she is eating. I suggest to start buying NON-GMO sources of grains and Organic as well. If you buy frozen foods like waffles, check the ingredients. If you eat out at restaurants ask for the ingredients so you know what you’re eating. If you are eating fake vegan meats a lot of them are made with gluten (wheat) or soy. These also contribute to negative experiences with fibroids. It will require some diligence on your part. It’s worth it and I guarantee your womb will thank you and your lived experience of fibroids will shift.
@@TheMindfulPlate I eat organic when I can. I learned that a long time ago. I have stopped eating the fake meat recently. It would make me feel sick for days when I ate it. Not much left now but salads.
It depends on how it’s affecting your body? If you’re eating farm raised fish, they are known to be fed a grain diet and also growth hormones to speed up their development. When you eat that, you also consume the grain and growth hormones. If you are eating wild caught fish and you find that your womb isn’t being affected, then I wouldn’t worry too much about it. As with anything you should be testing / measuring the effects of what you eat on your womb!
You’re right, feeling how it began to shrink and eventually disappear within 2 months was so liberating. I followed the steps I mentioned, and within the first 2 weeks the bloating was gone. I simply go'ogled Tilly Strankten's Ovarian Cyst Guide and it's like I hit the feel-good reset button lol.
Using olive brine to make plant based feta!!!!!!! GENIUS
Right! 🤯 the way the flavor just explodes! You’re in for a treat 🧀
We have the exact same story! I found out I had fibroids 11 yrs ago and that is when I switched to plant eating. The best decision for my health 🙏🏾
