It should be a requirement when demo-ing a unit that it’s done in a way to show it’s use in modern productions. Hats off to this guy that opening groove was magic.
I’ve seen a few demos on this piece of gear and they all fail to showcase what I think is one of the best things for a drum machine and that is the multi audio outs.
@@christopherpederson1021 Can’t argue with you there……. I think timing also killed them. Could have made a better splash if it came out with the volcas.
It sounds insanely thin to me. Im not a fan of the Volcas (at all), but the one I do like is the Volca drum. They need to make a proper tabletop version of that and run with it. In my opinion that’s the best thing Korg’s put out in a while.
Excellent demo and a solid effort to make a bad piece of gear sound good. Does it slap? Look for KORG to “disappear” this thing like they did that pitiful SQ-64. Ummm, no.
I love korg but this is a really weak sounding drum machine ..the kick doesn’t punch and the snares sound dull..too get this too sound half decent you’d have to process the hell out of it. The korg volca drum has a much better kick and sound design possibilities and is a quarter of the price. I’m answer to your question does it slap?id say no
@@HAZMATLIVE I bet you that half of these comments across YT complaining about the kick would have been avoided if the kick was mixed a bit louder in demos. The snare is underwhelming, but works fine with some filter resonance.

I'm glad we're finally starting to see really competent demos of this drum machine.
😂 🙏🏾😎 Thank you so much I tried
Possibly the only good demo of this product on the internet.
Wow.. I’m honored.! Thank you so much.

Thank you so much.!! 🎉🙏🏾😎
This demo has rekindled my interest in this drum synth machine. Expressive and unique. Excellent video.
First real demo with info I want.

It does sound good.
Agreed volca sample 2 way better sound even the volca drum being digital

One of the best things for a drum machine is to actually sound good, and this one fails that aspect

Only built-in patterns? Is there a sequencer?
All the patterns play I created and performed live.😎
@@HAZMATLIVE cool thanks!

That is exactly what KORG did!
+1 yup

Do you have poor speakers or headphones? It sounds pretty good to my ears.
The volcas are not even close to this machine..!! The Drumlouge bangs it’s got some real punch. Trust me
