The best piece of advice I recently heard was if you had a day nothing needed to be done what would you do?... if any of your "someday when I have more time" projects aren't it you should consider letting it go.... the best advice I've given lately is let things be multipurpose. I only need one spatula or one set of tongs at a time so why keep them. Also why let the world dictate what you need. I only own the mixing bowl that goes with my mixer and if I need something else at the same time I just use one of my pots. Less unnecessary things for me to manage when something else serves a double purpose.
Lol. I cringed when you mentioned the when the mail arrives. We’ve had no mail in Canada for several weeks. I’m scared to get the big pile when the strike ends🥹😂 great video, amazing tips 👏👏🍁🇨🇦
There are so many directions you could go with the medical analogy after triage! For example, items that clutter up your home are like pathogens that you want to eliminate from the body.
For me , it's the process itself that I out aside because I'm always busy. But I recently just stopped and said I'm not going to clean excessively until I declutter, so while my kods are at school, I will declutter things that I just let sit there like memory and junk bins. Or our clothes. Also like the guilt from.buying a desk that I don't need. We use our kitchen table for homework and my school work :/
I scrubbed my refrigerator before thanksgiving. On Monday after I cleaned pantry, organized & purged Tupperware drawer. Two more closets tomorrow!!!
Yesssss!!
You are looking extra beautiful today!

It sounds like you're on the right track! Decluttering is a process.
Just say no to managing chaos! :-)
That's the spirit!
