Can we appreciate the solo viola? Because dang! She has perfect tone and is very good with dynamics !
A real harmony among the string instruments violin, viola, cello etc... I love this kind of instrumentals played by an orchestra... An extra efforts for music lovers...
Heavenly like sounds.

That trumpet tho. He had his chance and he took it like a boss. Cuts through everything. Lovely tone.
he’s actually my assistant band teacher! mr. patrick hunninghake! great guy, and he definitely owned that solo

For real tho. He can play
Oh GOD! That was massively impressive.
so true! that was so sexy omg
I would buy a ticket to watch and hear this live
Me too. I’d love to see this live.
Who wouldnt
I believe that when Queen wrote this, they didn't fully realize that they created a masterpiece.
Yevgeniy Shcherbakov no, i’m pretty sure they had a good idea.
Yevgeniy Shcherbakov Freddie knew, everyone else thought he was going mad
Freddie wrote it.
Roger San Gabriel, and Freddie was part of Queen, as well as sang and worked on it with Queen, so technically Queen wrote the song, though Freddie started working on it before everyone else.
douglas carpenter nah he didn't. The opera section it's Freddie, Brian May and Roger Taylor singing over and over. They had 100+ tapes of them singing the part.
My god, Freddie Mercury really knew his shit. He literally wrote a classical piece then transposed it into a rock masterpiece. Classy, classy guy.
Funny thing is that if you showed this to someone who’s never heard bohemian rhapsody they would probably think this is some kind of classical music from the 1800s
Honestly I'd love to see that. Someone who's just never heard Bohemian Rhapsody hear this, get their thoughts, and then listen to the actual song
Hahahaha,...you are damn right...😄😄😀
@@nahuelma97 the original is very disappointing against this one, I can ensure you he would be disappointed
Is there someone who still didnt know bohemian rhapsody nowadays?

From a song that was originally meant to be a flop. Freddie must be chuffed.
Freddie would be proud 😢😭
Nicolly May definitely😭😭😭😢
Nicolly May my god would he be :)
this sent shivers down my spine, but my body's aching all the time unfortunately because I'm sick AF

Why is this not available on Spotify, it is the best orchestral cover I have ever heard, the arrangement is a masterpeice.
When you hear this played by an orchestra, you realize what a brilliant piece of music BH is.
I went to IU(1968-1972). Their music school always had great musicians. BH is becoming a masterpiece and IU ‘s rendition is part of the process. The composers understood music theory and this piece is a rhapsody. Beautiful performance and a nice mixture of young men and women .
I hope Freddie has Wi-Fi in heaven

I think Freddie Mercury really made it for a symphony.
I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was the case.

Didn't know he was behind this masterpiece too. Such a legend
3:01 that trumpet solo *NEVER* gets old. I get chills every time I hear it. 🎵🎶🎺
That solo Viola was fantastic!! Such an underrated instrument.
Violas sound beautiful and better than a violin
Potato Burger It's not about sounding better, it's about sounding different. As a doublebass player, I don't like violins because they're too high-pitched and I prefer the grave sound of the viola more but they're both beautiful
It's all about emulating the vocal range. Viola is like a tenor
I love viola more
suburbanindie not tenor, alto 😉
I wish Freddie was still alive to see this
+Ihab Layth Freddie's voice in this video would be the most beautiful thing in the history of music. Or in the history in general.

I think that the best part about full on orchestras playing amazing songs like these are that, despite there not being the actual lyrics, we can all hear the lyrics in our heads. That’s how memorable this song was to us as humans

This shows that Freddy was pure genius. And Queen in general. They wrote MUSIC.

That trumpet solo brought me to tears, and the musician on the harp! Girl, you ate that up! Definitely well-balanced and I heard everyone so clearly! This does not sound like a School of Music, but a National Symphony!
God damn, it amazes me that this translates so effortlessly from Freddie Mercury's original song, it just melds together so unfathomably well, and i could very well see this as one of if not the best rendition i have ever heard of this song. Bravo!
Even without the vocals, this is the best cover.
Bohemian Rhapsody is great because if you had never heard the original song before, you would think it was an original orchestra song, particularly during the operatic phase of the song.

It's extraordinary to see that all of this came out of one man's brain. Not just a man, a legend!
It was a group effort like most of their songs. (But yes, apparently, mostly Freddie, especially as to structure.)
As a trumpet player the solo touched my soul
WAS IT JUST ME OR DID THAT BRING TEARS TO YOUR EYES?
I was surprised that I got a little damp in the eyes. The piece really shines with this treatment.
Just u I guess 😂
I was crying too and I didn't know why 😂
Cried a bit as I sang the last verse
Roger Chess me too...
It is not often that you hear a viola do a solo. This was a great performance of Bohemian Rhapsody by this orchestra. I'm sure Freddie Mercury is smiling from above and enjoyed the performance.
But like any other musician he's probably disappointed that they made the viola so prominent.
Violas are so underappreciated! Lovely instrument.
Do that manic was a viola....always thought they were simply small violins. Beautiful sound. Beautiful piece.
@@Keithustus Idk what is wrong with violas. It is probably one of these things that less intelligent people just keep parroting without actually thinking about it.
