What I am trying to mention lang is local customary kung paano pinapatunog ang bell during Gloria. It's not about kung ano yung occasion. Other churches rung it only in the chorus. Dito kasi it was all over the song. I know na this is Easter Vigil since light was off at first.

Though this is local customary kung paano pinapatunog siya talaga. Kaya lang, medyo hindi narinig yung full orchestration because of the continuous bell.
Marvellous orchestration! Would the original vocal arrangements of Honti (with the altos singing the third below, and the basses singing a dynamic melodic line) fit in this beautiful arrangement? Thanks very much for promoting Fr Honti--such an underrated artist.
Sir AJ Consolacion's arrangement of Papuri sa Diyos is more solemn than Sir Ferdz Bautista. Sir AJ's version is more emphasis to the original arrangement by Fr. Honti in 2/4 time signature with focus on strings and a pipe organ using soft stops. Sir Ferdz's version is more on powerful brass and trumpet sections and tutti pipe organ.
Isa sa mga pinaka-pamilyar na rendisyon ng Papuri sa Diyos done remarkably well.
Less the voicing. Sayang, yet beautifully done.
Probably the most nostalgic Gloria for us Filipinos. No nonsense arrangement and the orchestra, how divine 👌👍

To me di naman sya nadadrown out but i just feel kind of bad as an altar server myself to their hand after ringing the bell for that long
