it is second oldest medical college in India.....first one was established in calcutta and KGMU is the second one
Oldest 4 medical colleges are culcatta, madras medical college,osmania hyderabad and mumbai grant .and about KGMU is not allowing females to wear western dress but college having western name and teaching western medicine!!! Lost first impression 😊

their is no ragging at all.....every new comer has a guardian (a faculty member) and also their is anti ragging cell which is very efficient, you get the mobile numbers of all the teachers of that cell and also you are free to ring them any time...............i can assure you.....our campus has zero tolerance towards ragging

no, it's not compulsory...you can stay at home......many students do so
Its not at all compulsory to day in hostel. In fact, if you're a Lucknowite you don't get hostel easily. College altogether amazing, it's a good choice.

after getting the allotment letter just come to the registrar office you will get all the information.

Hey, I am Akriti Rao. I am one of your batchmates . What is the procedure of applying for hostel? I don't remember filling any separate form for getting a hostel room during the admission process.
You can take the form from the pariksha bhavan. It costs Rs 500.
Yes you have to take a hostel form worth Rs 500 from pariksha bhawan inside the campus (also shown in the video). You'll need aadhar card photocopy , allotment letter, 4 photos of your own, one photo of your mom & dad, and fee receipt. Submit it ASAP

Try to come under 1500 rank if you are applying through AIQ .. and at least rank under 3000 for state counseling

Instead of joining KGMU and doing 2yrs of rural service, it's better to take 1 year drop and do in any AIIMS 😎

During rural service u treat every type of patients
But during PG u treat some cases which are specialized for your course which helps for you
Mbbs(7.5)+ Pg(3)+ DM(3)= 13.5
In UP they made PG rural service for 10years😭🤧😶😨

In 2020 AIQ for obc near about 660+ and for state quota of 2nd(last round) the last seat or minimum score is 647
Means if you want kgmu ,your target is 650+ but 660 + is safe zone
