you state this is hi fidelity audio, how did you come by that conclusion? if its based on the fact that is has hi res wireless certification then you would be wrong. Hi Res wireless certification refers to the codec, in this case LDAC which is not available on apple devices. i would refer you to the wiki definition of hi fidelity sound "high-fidelity equipment has inaudible noise and distortion, and a flat (neutral, uncolored) frequency response within the human hearing range." i can assure you that this is NOT flat, nowhere near it and the bass you refers to is upper bass punch with little deep bass.
I bought 2 of ikeas VAPPEBY speakers. You can pair them in stereo mode if you buy a pair. The output isnt great but enough for a car. Battery is 40 hours and price is 15 dollars
