    Hello ! Are arousal and stress the same thing ? I have found many videos about YD law but sometimes it is about arousal and sometimes it is about stress. Thanks for your help ! This video is great !!!

      Stress is a non-specific reaction (example: sweating, which could be caused by many different things), whereas arousal is a specific kind of response. See Hans Selye for information about stress since he was the researcher who originally developed the theories on it. I gave his definition. There are specific skills that can be used to reduce different types of arousal. Regarding stress, anything that improves your health will generally improve your ability to react appropriately to something which causes physical or psychological stress. Psychologically, increasing one’s feelings of control (or autonomy) decreases one’s feeling of psychological stress.
