* gasps * how could I have not of known that earth day is today I'm a green witch. Also you've really helped me accept myself and be more of a confident witch that can do spells and sigils, so thank you so so much for helping me find my path ^_^
It sounds like you are like me..... I treat every day like Earth Day, plant seeds of education to anyone willing to listen and I help my family do their part in taking care of Her.
Omg! I was thinking "What can I do, that the earth doesn't already do?" Oliva "If you're at a total loss of how to celebrate earth day, just, you know, go breathe on a plant" "Oh! Like the Doctor did! Air from my lungs! Such an intimate gift!"
I love earth day(: I’m cultivating my garden, cleaning up trash on the side of the highway that my farm is on, and nurturing my baby dwarf calf that’s mom abandoned it because of its disability(: also doing some herbal rituals and earth healing rituals 💚💚
My dad and I both have I naturalist, both of my parents are herbalists, so I grew up surrounded by plants, to the point where i feel lonely and trapped if their are none.
Happy Earth day and also happy birthday to me hehehehe aboslutely adore that I share my birthday with Earth day, can't think of anything better way to celebrate than to honour the Earth 🌿🌍
You might be interested to hear that in 1970, when we had the first Earth Day, I was in the 8th grade, going to a small country school. We had a huge all-day event at school. Our science teacher was a real environmentalist, so I figure he had something to do with it. Anyway, each class (7th-12th) went out in pickups (riding in the back, lol) and picked up trash from the country-side. Then we piled our collected trash in the front of the school, and the class that had the biggest pile won a party. We rode around on the trucks shouting "Eight is Great!" We won! It's one of my happiest memories of school days. And I've cared about the environment ever since. It's funny thinking of the safety issues we let go by back in the day!! But, yes, I believe it was originally aimed at young people. Thanks for talking about the history of Earth Day!
That's so sweet! 💕 I'll be going into 8th grade next year, and every year my school gives each student a seed and pot to plant a flower in. They're all taken care of in the school's greenhouse and later transferred into their garden 🌹🌱💕
My lawn is actually a mix of grass, clovers, strawberries, violets... there’s a lot of weeds in it but it makes the lawn have some character and I love picking the tiny strawberries in the summer❤️
Can you please do a video on how to manifest properly? Since we are all in quarantine I thought to dedicate myself on learning how to manifest. The thing is that there are too many videos with different information. Your videos are always useful. I enjoy the way you make your videos and give always positive massages to everyone. Thanks for teaching me all I know so far ❤️✨🙏
I watched this today while flipping through random recommendations from TH-cam. It was good timing. Literally this Friday I had been talking to a colleague about the potential for a Pokemon Go style app to assist in biological research--something where you take photos, tag locations, and biologists get real-time data on species location. iNaturalist sounds like exactly what I was after. With all the changes in the biosphere occurring, real-time data is tremendously valuable, and citizen-science initiatives are critical to helping with this. Thank you, from a scientist and someone starting on this path, for spreading the word!
Earth Day snuck up on me! I love seeing how people are celebrating the Earth every day. Whether you're doing something big and impactful or just taking time to appreciate nature, it all matters. Personally I'm continuously working on my outdoor garden and houseplants, and I recently purchased something from Ten Tree, so I know I've vicariously planted new trees to offset carbon.
Olivia this is just perfect! When we realise that just one small change can make a difference, we CAN make a difference. How our Gaia helps us we need to help her heal. Thank you to the coven members for sharing too. 🙏🌲🌻🌼🌷🌼🌻🌲🙏
Its greener to go green a little at a time anyway, i decided to get a reusable microwave popcorn container, but not until I finish this bulk box of disposable bags, and I wouldnt throw out a dish sponge before the end of its life to switch to a brush. Replacing things with a greener options as they end their usefulness flows easily and is cheaper. Also a tip. There are likely facbook groups local to you related to gardening/foraging wild edibles/ native plants...etc. A kind lady in the local native plants group mailed me seeds for a native polinator garden (saved from her own), and all I had to do was send her two stamps! Now I have tge perfect selection for bees, monarchs, and swallowtails!
I made a little bit of rose perfume from a few flowers that grow near me, and i also chose to dry some roses early in preparation for mother's day rather than buying a bouquet which has a lot of plastic on the packaging 🏵️
Is it odd that I feel insulted for the 3 thumbs down on this video. Any one who thumbs down is just not connecting.. that's on them.. Olivia your amazing ♡ I know it's just my opinion on the feedback... but you are one of a kind and deserve a billion plus... thumbs up . All love girl ♡
First TH-cam comment ever. I loved this video, and downloaded both of the apps. I’ve been propagating one of my plants and it makes me so happy to see more green around my apartment. I live in LA so I go to Griffith Park if I want to be surrounded by nature. But it’s closed right now. Loved seeing the videos submitted by community members!
As a wildlifer and fellow witch I love this! PLEASE PLANT NATIVE SPECIES! It will benefit so many native animals and insects in the area and you get to watch them utilize your green areas!
I grew up with a father who had a garden in the front yard. Not much grass to mow. Didn't appreciate it until I was an adult. Rose's and fruit trees and peppers. Treat all creature well.
Happy Earth Day🌎 I'm not able to celebrate the way I wanted to because recent events. However, I'm planning to light a few green candles and meditate with some nature sounds. I'm in the process of writing a little prayer for the earth.
I really love earth day and wanted to say thank you for adding my video and others in here ! I'm also glad others got to join in and show how they celebrate themselves in different ways .
im so happy that I found this channel as Ive been getting back into my practice! I have a ton plants growing right now, all herbs, I even bought a grow light this season since its been more rainy than usual
Been subscribed awhile, though have never commented. But those member vids! I received so much joy from those. Thank you, Olivia and thank you too Wonderlust Coven.
I have an indoor compost bin because I live in an apartment. It works with worms. And it doesn't smell! =) In French it's called a "lombric composteur". I personally find it really useful and convenient.
If it weren’t for my Christian faith, you would probably convince me to become a witch lol I love your videos so much! You’re a very genuine person and enjoyable to watch! Thank you for being a fantastic creator!
Yeesss. I’ve breathed on a plant as well as help watered the garden/lawn in our front yard! I almost forgot today was Earth Day. I really want to get some more herbs for our little herb section in the back.
Left your channel a long time ago, but I'm happy to say that I'm back and you're just as amazing as I remember ❤️ much love, never stop doing what you love
Thank you for wearing a mask when go out, very responsible not all do that....thx for the app suggestions. Me & 9 yr old son are going to go on bike rides & use it to help explore & learn...we are a low waste house....every day is earth day...well we try anyway. Thanks for your video stay safe and healthy....today we will ground ( outside barefoot rest in sun just breathing....)
Thanks for reminding me I'll be 50 yr.old in 4 years. :/ Lol it's all good. And yes I'll be celebrating earth day with my 9 yr.old & twin 8 yrs.old at the park hiking & playing in the creek.
I have the same frustrations with lawns. When I own my own property, I hope to have lots of moss and let the lawn do it’s own thing more. On another note, I used to use PictureThis but now I use PlantSnap :) I haven’t seen the other apps until now! Definitely going to download the iNaturalist one. 😄
it should be noted that plant identifying apps often misidentify things and are not a replacement for actually learning identification skills if you are foraging. the herbalism community particularly tries to raise awareness around this a lot because people have too often used these apps to "identify" medicinal herbs and make products with poisonous look-alikes.
Absolutely adore your videos. close to a form of meditation with you in the background while I craft. Would you ever be able to do an uncrossing candle? Your spells are so simple and sweet. Sending joy from Australia
Other apps that help with plant identification (note: I have an iPhone, don't know about Android): - VTree: Virginia Tech's massive database that alternately drives me crazy by not working or working better than any other app I've tried. Has gobs of location-based info, but may not work well west of the Mississippi. - Treebook: Not super-extensive but a really quick way to identify (or rule out options for) most common trees based on simple criteria
Love this video. I downloaded both apps. Thank you! In Vermont spring is struggling a little bit. Cold temps and snow flurries. I like the seasons but need warmer weather. That’s one of the reasons I am moving south in a couple months.
Speaking of which I often forget what month and day earth day is because if I don't use my calendar often I forget easily. I love earth day because I love warm weather and I guess I can relax while listening to music at home and I don't drive because I'm cheap and insurance and gas is too expensive and I'm not going to get scammed by an insurance company if I don't want to because I would rather let my caretaker give me a ride places and other people too and I love spending money on things I love for example food and anything fun especially entertainment
yoo, the length of your video is 11:11, love that!

I recommend visiting Master Sri Akarshana as he’s helped me with manifestation. Remember to trust the universe and good luck on your journey!
