When you're reacting to Sabaton and you don't know the history behind the song you can always check their other youtube channel called Sabaton History where they talk about the song.

I recommend you watch sabaton history where they go in depth about the history and a little about the song itself this is a controversial topic about the falklands war the islanders then 1500 wanted to remain under British rule the Argentinean dictatorship (sponsored and supported by America) saw the islands as theirs because they are closer and because it was spanish empire territory before the british kicked the spanish off so after negotiations failed the Argentinean dictatorship decided to invade because they were unpopular because they killed 9,000 to i think 15,000 people and the economy crashed so they invaded the islands to distract the people and build up patrotic spirit and they justified it saying they were helping to de colonise the british empire and they thought the british would do nothing but when prime minister Margaret thatcher (or the iron lady for her stubborn tough attitude) heard about the invasion she immediately ordered a task force of over 100 ships to reclaim the islands ( despite heavy american protests as they didn't see it worth starting a war over not very useful islands) and save the islanders from Argentinean occupation long story short the british won and Argentina was forced to surrender after a referendum was held to determine who should have the islands and the islanders votted 99.8% to remaining british only 3 of 1,500 votted for Argentina

One can only imagine the logistics required to move an entire strike group to the opposite side of the planet, that's how far the Falkland Islands are from Great Britain.
The British had something to prove as Thatcher wanted to look tough to the Reagan Administration as well as her voters.
The gamble paid off with British forces crushing the Argentinian Junta forces, albeit they took their fair share of casualties and equipment losses.
The Argentinians had modern French fighter jets and they proved effective, just not as effective as they could have been, as the pilots had little flight time and mediocre pilot training.
The islands are still disputed to this very day.

They really aren’t though, Argentina kinda pretends to want them but when the Falklands voted on who should control them only 3 people voted for Argentina.
      Three.
That’s roughly 0.2% of their population at the time.
