The combination of a contemporary band making a song in the style of the late-60s/early 70s, as well as the witty tongue-in-cheek lyrics, will provoke generations to come to dance and wonder about its history and meaning. Discovered Ghost a few years ago when Dance Macabre appeared randomly in my weekly Spotify recommended list. I thought, that's cool and added it to my regular playlist not thinking more beyond that. THEN earlier this year I met someone who is a MAJOR Ghost fan who introduced me to more of their music and yeah, they've become one of my top 10 bands now.

i "discovered' Ghost some 8 months ago and just could not believe that this music was available "Right Here, Right Now"..... I am 73 years old and am in awe of this amazing band. Tobias is a fine musician and an inspiration. I just wish now that I took up the bass 60 years ago and not 3 years ago. That is true regret. But what a fantastic group.

My first Ghost song was Rats on Octane. Then Dance Macabre. I loved the music videos. Then I heard Spillways and Hunters Moon on there. It was only when I heard my daughter on Tiktok and I heard Mary on a Cross when I questioned her. She said she liked the song so I introduced her to the other songs that I knew. Then I did an impulse buy and got tickets to the Tucson show. That changed everything. I am now a devote Ghost fan and can't wait until the next ritual ❤️
I got into Ghost during the Meliora era. They are the band I keep going back to over and over and they just get better and better. So happy to see them getting the recognition they deserve.

I'm a typical 'Boomer in his 60s, pretty much set in my ways. When it comes to music, I rarely venture outside the safety zone of my beloved 1960s to 1980s classic rock. But every once in great while I stumble across something really fresh, new, and exciting. These guys are definitely it! Rock on!

Oh my god, I felt like crying when I saw the sister's appearance in the chorus part. 😭This lyric video is the prologue of chapter 8, which is just before the chapter kiss the go-goat. Suddenly I feel very sad. This video captures where sister is going in that green dress, maybe she is going to see Nihil sing. But she missed the love song "Mary on a cross" specially given to her by nihil. After going there, she only saw him kissing other girls in "kiss the go-goat"😥😭
That's because you see her show that she's pregnant in Kiss the Go Goat video (hand on her tummy and putting out that girl's cigarette), so this chapter (prologue) happens before that. Maybe she walked around the ministry collecting her thoughts before heading out to the show
Theres gonna be old Ghost fans saying they hate what direction Ghost took or Ghost isnt metal, but I have to say I just like a catchy song metal or not. I like much more complex written songs, but sometimes you just need to appreciate that the band is having fun and playing tightly. Also having the female ghouls sing that "Mary on a cross" as the song ends is so chilling

Discovered Ghost last year through their song Hunter's Moon in Halloween Kills, afterwards went through their whole discography and they've since become my favorite band. So much so that my husband got me Impera and a Papa IV throw blanket for my birthday, and my best friend gifted me a Papa III Grucifix rosary she found on Etsy for Christmas.

Man if Nihil hadn't fumbled her, imagine a Satanic Clergy wedding where she's dressed in a gorgeous black dress embezzled/bejewelled like Copia's Papal robes, coming down those exact stairs to say vows before the Devil. Imagine Copia being raised by these two as an Antichrist, and maybe Sister wouldn't be so mean to the other 3 in this timeline. The image is stuck in my head. She'd be so gorgeous. And her dark beauty would have never ever scared Nihil. Edit: 3:31 look at how absolutely INTO the song Nihil is, it's tragedy that Sister seems to be walking to the performance and therefore missed this song, and the next song that she saw... well. He really loved her, and she did too. Man I have all the feels about these two.

Discovered Ghost a few years ago when Dance Macabre appeared randomly in my weekly Spotify recommended list. I thought, that's cool and added it to my regular playlist not thinking more beyond that. THEN earlier this year I met someone who is a MAJOR Ghost fan who introduced me to more of their music and yeah, they've become one of my top 10 bands now.

My first Ghost song was Rats on Octane. Then Dance Macabre. I loved the music videos. Then I heard Spillways and Hunters Moon on there. It was only when I heard my daughter on Tiktok and I heard Mary on a Cross when I questioned her. She said she liked the song so I introduced her to the other songs that I knew. Then I did an impulse buy and got tickets to the Tucson show. That changed everything. I am now a devote Ghost fan and can't wait until the next ritual ❤️

Oh my god, I felt like crying when I saw the sister's appearance in the chorus part. 😭This lyric video is the prologue of chapter 8, which is just before the chapter kiss the go-goat. Suddenly I feel very sad. This video captures where sister is going in that green dress, maybe she is going to see Nihil sing. But she missed the love song "Mary on a cross" specially given to her by nihil. After going there, she only saw him kissing other girls in "kiss the go-goat"😥😭

Theres gonna be old Ghost fans saying they hate what direction Ghost took or Ghost isnt metal, but I have to say I just like a catchy song metal or not. I like much more complex written songs, but sometimes you just need to appreciate that the band is having fun and playing tightly. Also having the female ghouls sing that "Mary on a cross" as the song ends is so chilling

Discovered Ghost last year through their song Hunter's Moon in Halloween Kills, afterwards went through their whole discography and they've since become my favorite band. So much so that my husband got me Impera and a Papa IV throw blanket for my birthday, and my best friend gifted me a Papa III Grucifix rosary she found on Etsy for Christmas.

Man if Nihil hadn't fumbled her, imagine a Satanic Clergy wedding where she's dressed in a gorgeous black dress embezzled/bejewelled like Copia's Papal robes, coming down those exact stairs to say vows before the Devil. Imagine Copia being raised by these two as an Antichrist, and maybe Sister wouldn't be so mean to the other 3 in this timeline. The image is stuck in my head. She'd be so gorgeous.
