我們通常一想起老人院或護老院，就有一個比較負面的感覺。較早前，我們有機會去參觀一家本地溫哥華的護老院。參觀過後，連我都好想入去住下。我簡直要把「老人院」這三個字重新定義！這裡有著酒店式的服務，感覺也有點像大學住Hall的日子+貼心安排+多姿多彩的生活，簡直超乎我們的想像！究竟有幾「正」，大家就不要錯過了😆

Opal 係私營老人院住既可以話係全是有錢人，如果係可以自出自入唔洗照顧既independent living 一房大概八千加幣一個月。聖誕去探望親戚食聖誕餐有龍蝦同牛扒，住戶免費客人差唔多要Cdn$100連頭盤同甜品。四樓係出售單位，二樓係long term care。係King Edward 夾Cambie街好近Skytrain 站。
如果係政府senior living有分independent living 同long term care，要由home and community care office部門核實資格轉介排隊等單位或床位。
多謝您的資料🙏 如果有機會，我們也想去看看一些比較「平民」一點的老人院。
Studio : $6,273 - $7,986 (Rent), +$1,236 per month (companion) = $7509 - $9,222 per month for 2 persons. 1 bedroom roughly $2,000 more , long term care (extra fee)..... > $8,000 / month ! 每年最少十 - 十二萬 入住, 居住面積, 487 - 620 sq ft studio ! 我亦想了解下溫哥華其它護老院, 謝謝 !

全世界都人口老化，加拿大都唔例外。呢個真係大商機😆😅
Never said anything concrete in pricing ...must be super expensive by the sounds of it
Yes….I believe that it is not easy to give out a concrete price ( a few thousands CAD or more) It has many variables to affect the price eg how big is your flat? studio flat l/ 1 bed/ 2 beds? do u need long term care? Can u handle everything by yourself? Do u hv companion with you like your kids…etc.
Don’t think that it will be very cheap given that it goes with all amenities, services, facilities, environment and “dignity” , is it good value for money? well..….It really depends on your own judgement/ situation.
How much?
Find something that is around $4000 to $5000 a month . That is too expensive
Hi Janice, yes, I think it is quite expensive too. But, if, in case that, we are able to afford it, it is one of the options that we can choose to enjoy our retirement life instead of depending our kids😅
