They need to change the ruling for when a goaler pivots their foot to get closer to the goal after catching the ball facing away from the goal. As a defender you can set up 3 feet from their heel, then the goaler moves by pivoting their foot, and despite the defender not moving THEY are called for obstruction. It's totally illogical.
Inediblehulk from the heels? Ours are 3 feet from the toe. The shooters will place their landing foot behind the the other foot and the umpires still count the 3 feet from the not landing foot.
She is allowed to do that as u are only allowed not allowed to move the first foot that u put on the ground and she only put one foot infront of her other one so it is allowed

The new rules are a good transition for a more flowing game and players need to look at the umpire for directions which is good for junior players.
