This answered so many questions I've had about the deck. Lots of different synergies with the flicker, very cool. I got my playset of familiars today along with other cards for the deck. Excited to try it out. Thanks for the video

The combo portion of this video is sitll relevant but the SB guide feels a bit outdated since the meta-game has changed a lot in the last 1½ years. Would love to see an updated "SB guide only" video =) Also is there an good GY hate card you can play in Familiars? Relic is obs bad, seeing a lof of UB terror, Moggwarts, Golem Tron that all heavliy reply on their GY and having soon good hate would be nice, especially vs the combo decks.
The current sideboard information is now on my Patreon, though it's a document instead of a video. I've been putting out a new one monthly As far as yard hate goes, fams is a deck that wants to fight on the stack. If there were any effective spell to eat yards in UW we could consider it but artifacts can't be reused. If you're very concerned about graveyard then Dawnbringer Cleric works a little
Big thanks for posting guide! I didn't know there is alternate way of infinite life combo. I have a couple of questions: 1. How do you use cantrips? If you don't have Familiar on the table do you use them to search for it or you are just looking for value cards? 2. What's your opinion on playing a single copy of Sage's Row Denizen in main? While playing this deck in paper my opponents often said that they want to see my win con before they concede. Also time limit is a problem. 3. How do you decide what to get back with Archaeomancer? Also do you play them aggressively (play them asap) or do you wait to get something good with them? 4. How do you play if opponent has Relic of Progenitus in play? 5. In sideboarding against Tron you only side in Hydbroblast to have them as counters vs Pyro/Red Elemental? Also why no Last Breath against Tron? Seems like good answear against their Mulldrifter and Mnemonic Wall.
yeah no problem! 1 - cantrips will be used to find the next thing you need. Generally you need to make sure you keep hitting land drops, then fams, then value but sometimes creatures are more important than a familiar 2 - you can swap the 4th snap for a srd main and move it to the board instead of srd, i get it for sure 3 - this is a tough question that would require a situational answer unfortunately sorry 4 - Last breath could come in as a 1-of for sure and could be better than snap sometimes. I wouldn't play two though
Thanks for the thorough video. I had a question about hoodwink as a potential sideboard card. It’s useful in the same matchups where echoing truth is good, and it can give you a lot of finishing power when you have the ability to bounce lands. I admit that it might just be overkill for the matchups that are already good like Tron, but I wanted an expert opinion.
Hoodwink can be absolutely backbreaking but it can also be a complete dud. I like to put cards in the board with a high variety of uses so I stay away from a card like that.
Some constructive criticism: I'd like it more if the combo explanations section was split further into MODO keybind and tips section, and then the actual combo explanation section. I came here since I'm looking to play the deck in paper and don't really care about the MODO stuff. Other than that, great video!

Great videi man, thanks! Just one question, you're not actually immune to decking right? Say that you didn't have creatures in the gy to use with mortuary mire, or that you had one and you put it on top once, you will deck, correct? Unless you have 8 cards in hand and discard a creature card eot?
The plan to not deck out is usually to bounce all of the faithfuls back and all but two fams. Then you just discard them to hand size every turn and stack them the next turn or on your upkeep. Generally if you are aware it could come to more looping you should start holding cards in hand to make sure you can etb discard
Hey there, was wondering if muddle the mixture would be a card that you would be interested in trying out or running. Seems like decent enough disruption that also searches for familiar, i could see it not doing enough but I figured I'd ask your opinion on it
Affinity is a bad matchup but we have a ridiculous amount of hate which means we can completely blow them out post board. That makes it a favorable matchup overall. Post board you have to be careful about mulligans but if you can turn 3 dust, then archaeomancer and dust again, that is GG Pre board you can generally find a line for infinite life before they kill you as well.
I just decked someone today by looping DA, so I think I'm back on DA. Foresee is better if you are positive you never need to do that and you never will get foresee countered
