Remote Forest Has Virgin Birch Trees

No sign of man in this forest where the trees have grown undisturbed for thousands of years. I've never seen Birch trees so big! Being there made me feel welcome, like I was a parent at a school play and the show was for me. But then that night the rock throwing started, someone letting me know they didn't like my "trespassing". So I returned over the next few days to establish that I was in fact supposed to be there. Are you filming in the UP of Michigan? If so, are you near Miner's Falls? In my picture I"m standing in front of a virgin white pine in the Keweenaw.

I'm Stealth Camping from Michigan to Florida now. I went across the UP and back in the fall of 2016. I missed Miners Falls but saw many vigin White Pines. Also went up the Keweenaw and back.
