I played around with Youm and Albis and be ause i was having so much fun i had to get Raphael and Velzard. RIP my crystals for the anniversary. This is such a fun meta. Before i was just doing daily stuff but now ive been doing fights manually and having a blast. Was able to clear ex 3 beatdown with a bit of trouble but my last run i got up to 47 stacks which was doing about 300k per turn.
1:46 The real reason the devs probably throw out Fount of Wisdom force is to encourage you to pair more units with Fantasy EX Shizu who has an infinitely stacking Atk + Skill point increase buff. Not complaining when Fantasy Shizu is just super good, so getting more teammates helps.
Also Valk Raphael is singlehandedly so broken for nullifying quest gimmicks that most players probably should roll for her, especially if they struggled to finish Beatdown Battle challenges to awaken the f2p units.
no it's most likely bc all raphael are in fount of wisdom bc well raphael is lord of wisdom
@@paichnidiagaming2615 Sure you can argue lore. I'd just argue for actual gameplay implications that EX Diablo isn't an especially compelling reason to use Fount of Wisdom units in the first place (already powercrept). I think in the longer term Fantasy Shizu is something the gamedevs actually want you to consider for teambuilding.
The new layout with the info on the right and video on the left is pretty good you could maybe even at some point have it change to show the enemy stats and things like that too
This meta does indeed seem fun af, and honestly quite good! I was initially going to buy Frey and Millim with the selector tickets for Anni.. but I pulled Frey from the banner so I may choose Velzard and Raphael if they’re available
Also the new format looks really good, maybe for video that don’t have to do with specific showcases instead of a picture you could include some type of stat or multiple team layouts if it’s a stage.. idk but I think the format looks good

yea I can' even beat ex 1, even with velzard... like the one before, without the main battle character it's nearly impossible to do
Had seen a video that used skill fused light shizu to give guard and heal units while cheesing with youm's vengeance

I succeeded with this core team : Dark Protector Veldora from 1 anniversary to reset skill point cost, The new free to play unit Youm for Vengeance skill and Octogram Guy to always stun Deeno to avoid his secret skill when he have the buffs. For the other units i think it can be like you want but for me i take some green orb changers and a healer.
I beat dark veldora in the tempest stage which I was never able to beat since I didnt summon on the light stun banner, this team can help you beat all those hard stages since enemies damage becomes peanuts after those debuffs.
So off-topic, do you think the Light 3.0 characters will be included in the Anniversary free units that we'll exchange some in game currency for? (Like the Masked Hero, etc. were last time)?
I'm still missing Stun Raph from light 3.0 and the Def Raf in your vid but got 3 copies of Boobzard on my freebies. XD
So I'm thinking of throwing a few multies at the banner to try to get one of those 2.
If you wanna do another vengeance showcase the clayman tempered edge works well. I wasn't really able to beat it before and now I best it with only youm + anni veldora from vengence stacks (no full clear but for everyone wanting to get those limited quest plat hammers: Clayman gives himself 300 % attack and earth attack on turn 9 or 10 and with enough stacks he'll nuke your frontline and then just fall over himself. If you use enough attack changing skills you'll get the all plat hammer rewards this way.

in theory, this meta can complete every future beatdown battle, unless they become vengeance immune
The only real possible downsides of this meta basically come down to immunities yeah, not to mention Vengeance isn't used in Speed Battle format. But for ignoring some of the worst designed quest gimmicks we've seen up to date, it's kinda hard to beat Valk Raphael.
