Great VIdeo - I was trying to figure out the size of the box to confirm how to come up with positions and sizes to adjust the box size, but I didnt see it anywhere - did I miss it? I think it was 4.5(W) x 1.5(D) x 1.5(H)) - is that correct? I learned quite a bit by watching your video. It is quite different making something from scratch and doing the calculations. I think I was able to adjust it to get the box size I need, but will let you know when I cut it and put it together :) Thank you again.

I’ve had my Cricut for a couple of years and never knew about how to align shapes like you did. Thanks for teaching me something new! Love the boxes, too.

Thank you soo much.. .. I will need your help on this the other way round. In that the short part becomes the base and the long part becomes the height. So the lid becomes the other part of the base, please how do I go about it?

I'm brand new to Cricut (never done a project) but your video makes it so clear. is it possible to cut more than one box at a time if you don't use the pen to write on each box? Also what thickness of paper do you recommend to make a box with slightly thicker walls? Thanks so much for your help.

I prefer 400gsm. It's pretty sturdy. It's nearly impossible to find here in South Africa.

Thank you so much! Your vids are very helpful. I have a question, if I want to make the box bigger. How would I do that? Is there a certain Length x width ration that I should follow?

Thank you for sharing how to make the boxes. Do you make different sizes? I would like to be able to make a box that is not really big so I can ship earrings that I make. Is there any way you could put the sizes width and height and the x and y part I missed some of that part sorry 😞

Thanks for commenting. The box size: 4.5 (l) x 1.5 (w) x 1.5 (h). Stay tuned for the upcoming video - it may help. For the next video , I’ll add the dimensions on screen. 😊

I love your videos but it would be good to explain the formula for the measurements so we know what we need to do to make different size boxes. Unless you have a video for this already. Thanks

You might want to check out my other video on “How To Create Your Own Product Packaging Boxes.” You can use the steps in that video to make a shoe box by making it larger.
