Hey.. In the actual template, How do lines are animated? They are animated like mattes/masks. I wanna do these thing my self. I've tried to give strokes to mattes that you explained. I've also tried filled rectangle and pen lines by giving them Polar Cord. effects like you did for mattes.

Dope Motions I do that but I still get black background from picture to picture! It didn't show like you did for the very first scene in your video(Image connected well and no blackground)

Freddy Fernandes it doesn't connect picture from the first slideshow! It shows only blackground. Please kindly help to fix this problem. I cannot connect from first composition to second composition and it shows only black background without pictures

Thank you for your tutorial, it was very helpful. Could you please tell me the correct way to duplicate the ready "slides", so you can re-use them in the video, just replacing the footage used? Simple duplication applies changes made to one copy to all copies, it seems.
I would recommend using an after effects script called True Comp Duplicator

This was done some time ago, but there is a mistake which im not sure if you know how to fix it 6:02 when you rotated, you can see the final image actually has a black line at the bottom when you moved the track matte top and bottom after you put them together when you had the gap ion the middle.
Top job. One question tho, how do you do the transparent part at the start of the already done video clip as it changes from one photo to another. I think it might have something to do with the fill part of it.
is there anyway you can substitute a photo for the black background. like in video you were trying to imitate?

select all the keyframe and hold Alt
when i make a copy of a composition in after effects and apply change to the copy the change also applies to the original comp
I don't get how the track matte thing came up on yours, It hasn't on mine at all. How do I access it? When you add the composition above the image It says "Parent" in mine rather than track matte

I am trying to redo it and I cannot do the thing you do at 7:00 because when I fill my layer in red for example,the red is displayed instead of the picture on top..... I am filling the right layer so this is not the problem and I cannot get my head around this. I would love some help :)

When you pull the red bars to the right make sure you are just clicking the red bar and not the beginning of the bar that will pull up the doable arrow.

For some reason when I put the matte comp on top of the image comp inside the main comp, it doesn't let me put any kind of trkmat on it, it lets me do one for the image but not for the matte. it doesn't even show a drop-down menu option on that layer. Any ideas why? I followed the tutorial exactly.
