@@jonesy2111 Yep. Those first 3 Def Lep albums are absolutely savage. Even Pyromania, as polished as it is. But, everything after that has been pure rubbish.
41 years ago I heard this for the first time on the radio while riding in the back of my parents 76 Cutlass... I had great parents, they were kind enough to turn it up at my request. This hooked me on rock ever since and it's been a great ride. Rock on!
The first 2 Def Leppard records are my favorites! On Through The Night and High n Dry. When KISS and Def Leppard toured together a few years back, Let It Go was Def Leppards opening song in Toronto! 🤘😎🤘
Saw them on the Slang tour back in 96... probably at the lowest of their popularity, but all the diehards were there. I think they may have played 3 songs from High n Dry, including "Another Hit and Run" (which was awesome to hear).
It was awesome hearing this tune..but also when they came out with Switch 625 after Bringing on the Heartbreak..I was like whaaaa!!?..definitely a show to remember 😀
Glad they still play this, but I don't think most of the people who see them have ever even heard the first two albums. I saw them multiple with both Nugent on their first tour and Blackfoot on the High n Dry tour. They sound good here.
Def Leppard has grown so much in recent years I'm not even sure if the ticket prices are reflective of motley crue. That's why I didn't buy a ticket a few yrs ago. But now it seems Leppard demand is too high.
@@billwang5462 well, I guess that's it, then. The expert has spoken. History is wrong. The rest of the album got, "no way Jose." The fans were wrong. 😞
Always sound great. Too bad we didn't notice the illu minatti tri angle eye 30 years ago in their logo.Great musicians but what did they sell to get there
$200 seats at that spot are a bargain, same general area for Springsteen is 2k. I'd rather watch DL from 3 miles away than Bruce front row 🤮 They sound good!
i wonder if while they’re playing this any of them think ‘we should try to get back to sounding like this instead of the drivel we’ve been putting out since Pyromania’’ 🤔
Saw Def 4 years ago in Phx $20 no way does stadium pricing warrants product being played? They were good but? Motley Crue has sucked since 87 no interest therr
I was there it filled up pretty quick once they started there was an hour rain delay so it kind of screwed up the flow of the night Joan Jett was cut short and poison was cut short because liberal Boston has a 1030 noise curfew and to get Def Leppard and motley on they rushed it a little bit ...but Def Leppard was the best out of the 4
They haven’t released an album that I’ve liked since 1991. They should have tried to do one more album like Hysteria, High n’ Dry or Pyromania. Were it not for their 80s albums they would not be touring anymore. I’m not the only one who said that, but I guess they know best.
1st of all, they did not release an album in 1991, Adrenalize was released in 1992. 2nd, that's how Def Leppard released albums, 3, 4 years at a time, then they had to deal with Rick Allen losing his arm on New Year's Eve 1984 and then they had to deal with Steve Clark's death. This band has been through some major adversity if it wasn't for Steve dying and Pete Willis with his unbelievable alcoholism they would have had the same band mates for over 40 years
And then Phil ruins it because he has to be the center of attention.Btw on another note wear a fuckin shirt you are not 20 anymore.Another note Steve Clark played the solo.Let Vivian Campbell do the solo.
one of their best songs ever produced, high and dry will
always be my favorite dl record
without question
Agree
High and Dry is a kick as album from start to finish. Steve Clark and Pete Willis crushed it on the first two DL albums
High ‘n’ Dry is my favorite album period. And yes, Pete and Steve were beasts on that album! Cheers!
Too bad anything after Pyromania sucks
@@jonesy2111 totally agreed.
@@zevongrie1402 Hard to argue that. I'd definitely put it in my Top 10 favorite albums of all time

One of the most underrated rock songs of all time.
Peat Willis and his white Explorer was the shit for me back in the dayr!

They bring their A -game every time! They blew all of the other bands out of the water in Denver
Nice to see them doing some old stuff. Elliot sounds awesome.
Love the old stuff from High n Dry and Pyromania.
and on through the night are their best rocking lps
It’s good to see Def Lepp still rockin. Yep, I loved the first 2 albums. Pete Willis and Steve Clark were a force on those two.
Unfortunately they were not the same without them.
This one of my fav DL songs of all time - early stuff is sooo much better
Agreed 💯
Rick Allen is so awesome to have lost an arm and still play in a great band like Def Leppard 🥁
Saw them at Chapel Hill (Dean Dome UNC) on the Adrenalize tour. Freat show Rick Allen held the drums down like a champ
They rocked Boston. Loved every song, every minuite, every bands on Friday night. One night to remember!
Right on. The early, heavy stuff was their best.
Absolutely

My favorite DL song so glad they played it instead of another ballad 🙌🤘
Totally agree
One of he best rock and roll songs!!
Damn, you guys are right! Joe sounds fantastic!
One of my favorites from them 🙌
We 💘 Def Leppard and All Def Leppard fans!!
Great great song. Smart band, gives the fans what they want. Love it
One of my faves from Def Leppard!!
The Boston crowd looks Dead!!!! Wtf!!! That's Def Leppard!!!
My FAVORITE DL SONG!!!
Saw them with Krokus mid 70's Montreal Forum. Loudest concert ever!!
What year?? Def Leppard's 1st album was not released until 1980.
That would have been rhe 1983 Pyromania tour.
dude really sounds great
To all you young dudes that’s how it done 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
One of the first riffs I ever learned on guitar in the 80's!
Great sound and visual. Thx for this!
Glad they still play this, but I don't think most of the people who see them have ever even heard the first two albums. I saw them multiple with both Nugent on their first tour and Blackfoot on the High n Dry tour. They sound good here.
Agree. That crowd only knows the Hysteria album. And only the hits of that album.
Wow. I'm a late bloomer. I saw them in 1983 the first time
Fkin amazing yessssss🤘🏼🔥🔥🔥🤩🔥🔥🔥The Lepp Rocks Forever!!!!🇬🇧🎸🇬🇧🎸🇬🇧🎸🇬🇧🇬🇧

Their best song.
My favorite song
Awesome. Those first 3 albums rule. After that no way Jose.
Agreed. After Pyromania they became a pop band.
my sentiments exactly.
@@ZumaDogg run riot gods of war and women are great songs I must admit..after those 3 no way Jose.....huge let down 👇

are you Bill Wang from Rock & Metal Combat Podcast by any chance??
Off their best album!
They were fantastic in Cleveland
We went to this event on Saturday, I guess that it was 1 hr delay of the rain on friday.
They should come onstage with buckets and literally mop the floor with the Crue.
Always sound great. Too bad we didn't notice the illu minatti tri angle eye 30 years ago in their logo.Great musicians but what did they sell to get there
Why is it that they all look so old but, I still look the same as I did 40 years ago.
Probably because of drugs and alcohol in the 80's and early 90s. night after night.
See ya in Pittsburgh Tim Hoffman Sykesville P.A.Let me know if you get this.

Why the fuck is Crue allowed to co headline. Undeserving.

Crowd seems a little small for a multiband stadium tour show
I was there it filled up pretty quick once they started there was an hour rain delay so it kind of screwed up the flow of the night Joan Jett was cut short and poison was cut short because liberal Boston has a 1030 noise curfew and to get Def Leppard and motley on they rushed it a little bit ...but Def Leppard was the best out of the 4
That's also because behind that crowd up front the whole diamond of the ball field was blocked off

Steve Clark died.
They fired Pete Willis. He was the metal part of DL.

watch out for those foul balls
They sound so soft no edge at all
Dead crowd as usual.
Doesnt sound terrible. Sucks that singers can no longer hit the high notes as they age.
joe still handle it good for 63 years old
What a lame crowd . They don’t know the rocking stuff . Weak Boston
Great band, great song, rubbish view! I hope you asked for your money back?
