You can run a bcdc in parallel with the RedVision system to give you a higher charge rate

Nice review...yes 4 wheel camper is the gold standard for pop up campers...very large and spacious...can't wait to see part 2...I am guessing lots of great TH-cam content earned you that sweet ride...good work...enjoy your new rig!
I have Wild Peaks on my 4x4 RAM truck and never had any problems on snow and/or ice! Please stay warm and enjoy your adventures! Love to watch!

That’s a dream camper for sure! I had no idea you could get an indoor shower like that. Im 6’3” and even I could fit in there.
It’s all about the “activity room” for sure!

Would love to see you at the owner's rally in June! My wife and I love all the new changes to 4wheel campers, except that we bought ours before the changes. But you are one of the few people to get all the light options. Being able to use the diferrent lights really helps at different camping locations. I like the rooftop a/c option, rather than the rear wall mounted like we have. But the biggest change that I crave, is the underbed storage! I bought a Jeep Wrangler to tow along with us on trips, so I might not be able to get another new camper with the new specs.
But I do see why your usual high enthusiasm, is ramped up with this camper!

Many congratulations on your TH-cam success!! You can have as much luxury and convenience as you can afford, and you seem to have done very well indeed with this camper. I especially like the shower arrangement. So nice to hike or swim, then come back to a good shower and clean off. (Just to be sure, since bungie cords do go slack, I'd buy a couple of extra shower curtains.) Well done!

Get a removable winch Hannah! Fixed winches are not a smart option just due to the fact that if you end up in a situation where u need your winch but can't get to it cause you are bumper first in a ditch or another shitty situation. Get a front bumper with a receiver and get a decent 12k winch and just keep it in a compartment somewhere. Run a power plug to the front and rear that way it can be mounted and powered front or rear when needed. It also keeps the winch and rope in better condition. Love your videos and happy you got a new Superduty. Hopefully she treats you well. Be safe and keep having fun!!!

That storage wasn't surprising to me🤣😂😂, Totally expected:). That is a nice rig Hannah. It definitely needs wheels (I think black rhinos would look great on it), a winch, off-road skid blade and bumper, recovery winch, recovery boards and an off-road motorcycle in the back just for Hannah:)
My only complaint, that pop up feature should have a triangular add on from outside to help snow slide off when its snowing, Just a thought but it could be a disadvantage in some way or unnecessary. Thanks Hanna, cant wait for part 2 and 3. I hope it comes with some off roading action:) plus your bubbly free spirit personality as well. Thanks
Must admit love your outdoor showers too. Camper looks great. I keep thinking about something like that. Downsize from a 35 foot toy hauler. Never use the toy hauler might use one of those. Thanks. Love seing what your up to next!

This is a beautiful set up!!
Very nice. One thing you might enjoy and have not yet thought about is the outside lights. You showed them and it will give you nice work lights, but you also have a nonwhite light. If you leave it on while you are star gazing you don't lose your night vision like the white light and you can read the star charts. Or if you are going on a hike and coming back after dark you can see the camper without drawing as many bugs.
FX4 is a good move! it has your locker options for all 4 wheels turning . . . a few others as well..

Do you ever put pop in your buggy.? And when you are out on those rocks be careful. They can be slippy. Keep the great work

My retirement is, I sold my condo in Nashville, bought 9 acres in East Tennessee, bought a park model rv/tiny home, traded my car for a 4wd truck, traded my touring motorcycle for a single cylinder ADV motorcycle. Life is awesome!!!!

I will be looking for more gold after the snow melts- I usually find the most gold after all the winter storm erosion and movement

Nice camper. It’s good you have more room with the roof down. The main issue I have with those types of camper: is the cloth sides. Very easy for someone or something to cut …tear..etc and get inside …one is sleeping in the forest…a claw rips thought the slides ..grabs you and eats you if some wacko hacks it up while you sleeping or away Good choice of truck. Have a ton of fun with it. Live confidently and peacefully

Love the new truck and camper Doc! I almost bought a used F-350 with an 8 foot bed, but decided I didn’t want that long of a wheel base. For someone who lives in it, or spends as much time as you do that extra space will be awesome. I almost got the external roof lifting device for my new hawk, and after seeing yours I’m sort of regretting that decision. The indoor one works well for a retired government worker though!😅 Love that there’s no center push bar to bop your head on though! Love the outdoor shower stall, and the indoor shower is pretty amazing! Four Wheel Campers are so lucky to have you as a spokesperson, and I hope they gave you a good deal. I can’t wait to see what you do to upgrade the F-350! Keep up the great work Doc, have fun, and stay safe!!

Hannah, That was an excellent presentation and introduction to the new camper system. You made me really want to investigate it over a pulled rugged offroad trailer. I will be very curious what you do to the F350 diesel to spread the load. I just remember F350 work trucks beating the tar out of you on rutted dirt roads unless they were fully loaded. Keep up the great videos, they are very engaging.

Im glad you have chosen to stay with the F series ford built tough the blue blood runs through our veins and the slide on camper is a great addition in australia whe put bull bars on the front of our vehicles in case we hit wild animals

If you have to full-time in a truck camper for whatever reason, an 8-foot bed is surely optimal. Kudos. A collapsible roof is pretty much necessary too, for clearance and to reduce wind drag. Not sure what that 4-door taxicab is all about though; it makes overall length way too excessive. The only advantage it gives you is a huge fuel tank. You'll have to get a doglet now to fill that space.
For occasional use the single cab truck with 8ft bed is the true ultimate setup for a super duty off-road rig(better wheel base and a big camper). The extra 4 door cab space is great for full-time travel to store gear and outdoor toys

Haha it's like playing house as a kid- I guess I never grew up. The cool seat fabric was a last-minute change! They also have a bamboo countertop and table available now

WOW, that’s a quantum improvement over the 250build- the auto raise has to be like #1, so much extra living and storage room, interior shower for the winter, nice big counter and table space, porta potty. Sorta downside is propane heat not a diesel heater and still no passthrough- but looks like it’s more comfortable for longer trips and plenty of room for recovery boards and snowboard plus a handy area for the X-bow!! Congratulations of finally getting all the parts and getting it done- it looks so worth it. Now we wait for the tricked out truck, with the BLACK grille!

gee just think with this truck you can back up to a 2024 Lance 1172 and go in style.. wont have the 4x4 capabilities as this setup but I figger guy needs two or 3 campers... one for reach occasion and seasons .. the lance for lowland, this one for highland.. PERFECT!
