Amazing Ed!! Love your videos! You have inspired me to drive from the snow in Canada... to South California to do a 15 day trip (12 days of riding and climbing training) I'm guessing my weekly tss, and time will definitely double. I have incorporated it into my training I started 4 months ago on TrainerRoad, as a B event- stage race.. just to call it something. I will be tapering going into it, however... your knowledge and tips into carb loading, prep, fueling before, during and after. Recovery.... any insight from someone with your experience would be appreciated and priceless!!!!
Vilaflor cafe is my fave. That furthest away climb up to Vilaflor is a banger up and down. I've done the middle steep road you are talking about and it is horrible!
Do you train harder/better now than back in the Rapha days? and would you have progressed further in your cycling career had you had the knowledge for training etc?
That's a tough question! I train better now but only because I'm older and able to handle different training and loads. I started cycling quite late at 15-16, so my learning process was a bit slower for the first few years until I turned pro, but even then I was thrown in the deep end.
New TCR spotted!
Great video Ed...Tenerife looks brilliant 🚴🌞

👍
I have PTSD from doing that second climb a few weeks back 🤣 did it after already doing sea level to the Teide cable car
Haha! I don't disagree! Welcome to the channel!
What clothing do you take on a ride up to teide Ed? as obvy quite a temp contrast from sea level to descending for 45 mins from teide at 2200m
Gillet and arm warmers, that is all :)
Watts Up #EdMode 👍
