The story behind the green feet as I heard it from a friend who serves on a rescue helicopter: The green feet came from the Sikorsky HH-3E, also known as the Jolly Green Giant helicopter. This helicopter was used on rescue missions in the past, and it was so big that it usually left big "footprints" on the vegetation every time it landed, like the Jolly Green Giant was there standing on his feet. The helicopters got upgraded but the green feet stayed as a symbol of respect for the HH-3E and its brave crew.

For the ArmaModFrance, it's normal that it looks a little bit off, it's because the mod is still in alpha version, and if there is any French buff here, they plan to add a lot of new stuff in the future, and when I mean they plan, it's because they already started to work on it

Just pointing it out if you look at 5:21 the Shikra from that view looks like stealth version of a MIG 29 with a little bit of SU-27 nose design but mostly a 2035 variant of a mig-25 or even the mig-35 (nevermind it's exactly like a stealth of mig-35).

I've a big fan of the mod reviews you do its relay give you a feel for them! If you ever make a faction mod review again you could have a look at my little re-texture faction mod Terrorist Organization Black Order It uses RHS as a base for the majority of equipment but you can also add ACE to swap the main assault rifle ammo as well as add some electronics to the infantry. I'am considering making a CUP version for it in the future. I't would be super appreciated to give your opinion on the faction overall cause it have been out for a couple of years now! :D

Keys to good FPS in Arma 3: 1: Have game installed on SSD, and don’t fill up the drive. 2: Good CPU, I recommend Intel i7 8700k but only cause that’s what I have and it rocks. Ryzen chips are also great. Anything above 3.5ghz. 3. Only load the mods you need/are going to use.
Forgot to ask this. I know A3PL Scripts are locked behind their servers with a big paywall. But I was intrigued by any Rescue Basket, or Winch scripts that might be available to add to the HH-60J mod

I mean, relatively arcade even with advanced flight mode. With mods like ACE3 that require ground guys to connect your cables to assets you're picking up, the realism is more prevalent, but vanilla is pretty accessible to everyone lol.
How do you have this Good FPS? I have a 1080TI , I7 8700K @5GHZ and 32GB 3600mhz RAM... even when i only destroy a Tank with my Jet then the game drops at 30 FPS or so... :(
@@Viper1Zero I have mostly all Settings at Very High. Before, i had it on Ultra. But also very interesting is, that the difference between Very High and Ultra only is about like 8 - 10 FPS...

That's a cool story. I knew that many PJs have green feet tattoos, but I never knew their origin

On the topic of those rescue and SOAR H-60s are HEAVY, very heavy compared to the UH-60 A/L they're derived from. They're supposed to feel heavy.

I know a significant part of maritime search and rescue, especially for the coast guard is to use their basket and hook.

He means that if you place down an aircraft with AI, they won't be able to take off from the airfield.
