After Sexy Nukim- you can totally see Balming Tiger’s influence and work on this with Joon. So different and I’m so proud he stays true to himself not caring if it’s the popular thing to do. Thats one reason why he’s my bias- plus he’s got great humor!

The beat and melody remind me of 90s Brit Pop like Blur, like it. I enjoy the visual and the lyrics, but they make me uneasy when I think of his pain and struggles.
His album is so good, so artsy, so emotional.

It's definitely in part about the pressure he felt representing BTS after they blew up, especially when they were thrust into the spotlight over here and his role as leader evolved even more into being a spokeperson and translator for the group. And there were times you could see how he was struggling to translate for everyone (because it's not his first language) especially because he was probably exhausted too. In the Minimoni Music exchange video he did with Jimin (which was so lovely and made my heart full) he talks a bit about this and how looking back he could see that he never relaxed through that whole period. I'm so glad this album was able to be a much needed release for him.
As for enlistment, he actually delayed enlisting to make this album. He was originally going to go in the same time as Hobi, but after Indigo he felt like he still had to create this and get it out there. They're legally not allowed to work while they're in the military, so anything new coming out from them was prepared beforehand, including music and any promotional content. Even in the bangtan bombs where they sent the members off, the ones who were already enlisted couldn't appear in those videos. The most they can do is post casual content on their personal social media accounts.

The music that BTS released after they individually started in the military were all created way before they enlisted. This allows them to release music while they're still serving (they cannot do other projects while actively serving). :) A lot of people have asked about this because no other artist has done this (except one other - I don't know the details hehe). If BigHit has released something at a certain point, best believe it has been all planned months or years before. Even their post-enlistment projects have already been planned to an extent, which allows them to still be connected with ARMYS through their music and content while they're away for a little while.
As far as the members returning, Jin will be back on June 12th (so close!!!) and then Hobi will be out in October. Next year, the rest will be out in June --- Taehyung and RM first, Jimin and JK the day after, and the last one who will be out will be Yoongi who, unlike the rest, is serving 21 months instead of the usual 18 months since he's doing alternative service with only 3 weeks of military training (then the rest will be in a government office or other institution). Their screening system for the soldiers determined that his previous shoulder injury and surgery would not be fit for the regular 18 months of military training in the field.
I'm just really happy for Namjoon for his new music in this album because it shows a lot of his variety, curiosity, and just his courage to try new things out for his music and to introduce those styles that we haven't really seen from BTS before. He knows he's now at that stage that he can do what he wants and I love that for him. :) This style that is new to his music may not be everyone's cup of tea but it definitely is a good representation of how broad his abilities and knowledge of music are.

This is a completely different weird kinda Albm ! He made this for a year ready for us why he was going in the military they have left us stuff like V his song Friends and J Hope has done a EP of songs just recently called Hope on the street so we don’t miss them
