I'm a bit younger than Stephen and lived in his hometown. I also studied under Li Lin (though I was nowhere as good. I remember for a few months my class was right after his, and those were brutal cus the bar Stephen sets is so high 😂). Every year I'd watch him perform in our local talent show, and I'd also follow his progress in competitions like the Menuhin. He's truly a once in a generation soul. It's hard to describe but his performances almost have an ethereal quality to it. Glad to see that he's doing well, and excited to see where he goes in the future!
