High Style in the Gilded Age: Rose de Rose

This lecture was done live via Zoom on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 11am.
Rose de Rose, born into a wealthy and highly ranked family, grew to scorn the rituals and fashions of High Society. As a child, she loved roaming her family's 12-acre estate in Southampton. As an adult, after inheriting the property, she turned it into a farm, raised pigs and chickens and delivered fresh eggs to people she favored. Co-Sponsored with the Rogers Memorial Library.
