I think I love EmKay fanart segments not just because they show off the fanart but usually our wonderful narrators actually comment upon it. Artists don't receive enough fun or positive feedback as it is because people are just prone to click a "like/upvote" and move on, as if that even means anything in the long run, and every other talking head I see to show off fanart does so silently as if it's some gallery they've amassed. It's nice to be proud of having your work shown off, but it's so much nicer to have feelings expressed about it too... thanks EmKay team for trying so hard to always give thought and words to the art that's being shown.
My dad went on a weight loss journey last year, seeing him making it to the top of the mountain he had only ever gotten a quarter ways up was the most heart warmingly amazing thing ever! I took a video so my mother (who has chronic fatigue and couldn’t join us up the mountain) could see. I am so proud of him.
This is a great subreddit. It's nice to see posts that aren't all about someone's political standpoint or some idiot doing something. It's nice to see some people are still nice.
Agreed. It’s nice seeing kindness. While cruelty and stupidity are more likely to be seen, discussed and spread (cause basic evolution, detecting badness and stuff), seeing kindness is important, and good, because kindness is also prevalent.

As someone who had to fight it when I turned 18, I love seeing people talk about overcoming cancer. I don't know why so many people go " YOU'RE JUST SEEKING ATTENTION. " Nah... most of us didn't have people willing to listen to all the dark thoughts and fears / no outlet to express ourselves while bedridden in the hospital and small children died of the same disease all around us... We like to just shed light on how it feels, not ask for pity. I just like being heard, not looked down upon as " Aw, poor you. " No, I'm fine now. I'm relatively healthy again. The point of me talking about this pain? Please, do your best to be there for anybody you know going through that... because it is an abstract pain that I wasn't even prepared for as a black belt in martial arts that had two broken ribs and several times dislocated both of my hip and shoulder joints. My ribs had dislocated frequently prior as well and that pain..? That pain dwarfed everything... to the point when the neuropathy kicked in and I began feeling like someone sawed me in half from the guts down, I screamed for the surgeons and doctors preparing the put a port in my chest to either give me pain meds, knock me out, or just kill me outright and save me the agony. Imagine how those small three and four year olds feel... you can help them out by donating money to small fundraisers made by former cancer patients. Especially if you're around Texas, there's a ton of initiatives made by the families of cancer-kids that's intended to bring them gifts on Christmas, provide extra payment on their bills so their parents can take time off work and be with them and they also would bring the children small cakes on their birthdays. This subreddit is like healthy drugs, you cannot take enough of it, but you NEED more of it. Nothing happens if you dont get it but still. I NEED IT!
21:13 Imagine visiting your dead sister's grave and two people are just standing over it laughing hysterically
“Hi-diddly-ho, neighbor,”
Do... do you watch Home Improvement?
No.... The simpsons
@@Thepotatoz. Oh I don’t watch that. But I DO watch Home Improvement lol
14:23 I'm about to cry this is literally so cute!
When there was a first post about Arnold Schwarzenegger the editor should have posted a "I'll be back" and on the second one "I'm back 😎"
That would've been amazing. Arnold is such a cool dude.
This subreddit is so damn wholesome and I love it
That lil goldfish made me shed a tear, that was so sweet of that little girl.
16:48 We don't talk about Bruno no no no🤣🤣🤣🤣
Edit : make it green jake
21:04 I would like to point out that they said "people from 40 different _communities"._ Not 40 people. People from 40 communities. 40 people is the absolute _minimum_ estimate of how many people showed up.
Also his math was was wrong either way
@@Panda2.000 : This is accurate.
5:22 no, no he won't. As a December baby I can say that u get maybe 5 gifts more. My sister, a July baby, gets a barbecue and a mountain of presents.
My grandpa died due to COVID yesterday morning and he was 73. He was a good man and he was cool non the less.
17:50 Robin, that would be (presumably) Apple's Health app. I recognize those rings from my Apple Watch (though I don't have the Health app on my phone, so I don't know for sure). The exercise ring is very difficult, as Apple Watch is very bad at telling when you are exercising unless you specifically telling it you are, which makes this even more impressive!
14:58 no one talking about how he called that woman a cow
I cried at most of those and I'm not even done watching this video.
4:40 and that is one of the many reasons I am proud to be canadian
We all love Jack with our whole hearts, but Jack is the reason we always need to wear headphones while watching… which is why we love him even more~
5:49 when we first got our seasonal lot at our favorite campground, we found an army man toy. We named him Reginald and hide him around the camper. Whoever finds him has to rehide Relocatable Reggie. This has become an ongoing game of everyone searching frantically and excitedly laughing when they find him.
