Sick concepts, I just saw the video with the amphibious motorcycle! How would the tire paddles work on land, retractable, removable? Also if you fall over hitting a wave the bike would be underwater and gone for good, or floating upside down…
The Hanstagier is my wet dream, but I don't quite understand how I'm supposed to put out fenders along the stern side? I'm not a sailor, but as a motorcycle rider I know no matter how much you plan you will hit rain and cold weather! The helmstation on this boat is cool AF, but I can imagine a long crossing without being covered. At least the Hanstagier have a covered cockpit, it must be hell without. And I'm excited to see a catamaran or trimaran that don't look exactly like the other sandwiches, they are pretty much all in the same design.
@@sexykjetil There are glamorous pictures and there is reality. Reality is merciless. Your dream in it has no chance. Hanstagier shakes strongly even on calm water. Yes, it looks cool. But what about at the anchorage? It's a nightmare to be in constant pitching. Okay, the anchor device, although controversial, can be used. But how to moor on Hanstagier? And this I just started a list of questions for the Hanstagiers design... Reality is ruthless. And in the sea, reality is ruthless in degree.
winches way too far from helm to single hand. why give all the real estate to 2 bikes when clearly you are not thinking of comfort on a passage plus those stairs are in the way of using the back deck space under way obviously designed by a non sailor

This was modeled by a man who had never sailed in his life ...
same with the Hanstaiger trimaran
He probably should have just made it hybrid electric and not a sailboat.

What software you use?
Indeed. There are some major flaws in this concept.
