“Somber” really a great word choice. Literally imagined everything he said before he started elaborating what he meant by the word. I get why he had to put this question off until the end because it definitely is a great question that allows him to skirt around his NDA without breaking it as well as voice his stance without portrayal of being speculative. Really BIG props to the author of the question👍

I believe Lou just admitted ET’s exist and have existed for a long time. But what’s more, it solidified for me that everything the ancient civilizations and sages of old have tried to pass down the ages to us. That is spirituality and the knowledge that humans (and any/ALL beings) are more than what we have been conditioned to believe. We are eternal and that there is sooooo much our minds don’t know, can’t comprehend or don’t want to comprehend. Life is sooo magical beyond the materialistic world we are forced to be part of. I for one am looking forward to seeing and seeking the truth even if it disrupts my current paradigm.

I dont think Mick West thought out his question, he definitely didn't access any internal foresight into what reaction or response he might receive. I agree with Mr. Elizondo's reaction and response, he is putting himself out there more then most people have in this history of our planet and if that's not enough for certain people then okay. I for one will say "Thank you" and that people like Luis Elizondo are why I continue to have faith in our world, he's a hero & and a brave man. Two characteristics hard to find nowadays in our world.

Restrained but passionate, educated and well-spoken yet relatable. It's a great lesson to people that taking an approach that is open minded - yet avoids the temptation to speculate unduly - combined with a clear focus on reason and evidence, puts you in a great place to make a convincing argument to a broad audience. So much to unpack from this interview - thank you.

Loyalty is more important than honesty. A better analogy for cheating would be; your brothers wife confided in you that she cheated, but made you promise not to speak of it. Do you let your brother suffer the ignorance of his wife's infidelity in order to "be a man of your word"? Or do the _right_ thing, and let him know? Because if you hide it from your brother, he will never trust you again.

I've always said that when I hear Luis Elizondo speak, I hear a man carrying a heavy burden in the form of knowledge around with him. It's a burden I'm sure but one I feel he gladly takes on guided and possibly at times tested by the rules that govern what he can and cannot say within his security clearance. I feel privileged as an American to have someone like Lue and others who go unnamed and unknown who also carry that burden of knowledge. A knowledge that we as a species are slowly being exposed/introduced to. Everything will change and that scares those who are in power the most. Can "we" handle this knowledge? Some yes, some probably not. But I believe we are at an inflection point that we cannot turn back from and that also scares the powers that be.
I believe what we're seeing as Lue has said so many times as, we are in the process of disclosure. By forcing the government to say what is being seen is not our tech is huge. People like Lue are boxing in the gov't essentially. If it's not our tech or alien tech, will they admit to a gross monumental intelligence failure if they say it's foreign adversarial? The govt will have to choose what is worse, admitting we are not alone or saying China has had tech for 40 years and kept it under wraps but steals the intellectual property of American companies to stay ahead. It doesn't make sense right? Disclosure is being forced and it is playing out right in front of us. Keep the faith.

With his tattoos, goatee and baseball cap, Luis Elizondo looks like your average neighbourhood plumber, but he is easily one of the most intelligent, articulate, thoughtful and thought-provoking, and scientifically oriented speakers out there, much more so than those lazy debunkers and close-minded academics with fancy titles who are in fact practitioners and victims of scientism, orthodoxy and false logic. But above all, Luis is an incredibly courageous human being. By risking his career, reputation and personal well-being to tell the world the truth about UFOs, he has helped to break 70 years of truth embargo on UFOs, easily one of the most (if not the most) important issues facing humanity. Luis’ pioneering effort (along with his colleagues like Chris Mellon, Eric Davis, Hal Puthoff and even Tom Delonge) will change our understanding of the universe as well as humanity’s place in it. Mr. Elizondo, what you have done and continue to do is not only tremendously important for Americans, but for all of humanity as well. Thank you, Mr. Elizondo, for your courage and your service. You will go down in history as truly one of the most transformative figures to change the thinking of millions of people around the world and open up a new horizon for humanity.

In fact it was as f nobody was aware, even didn't hear anyone speaking about it! When I did mention this topic to individuals I know, it was as if they just rather not know about it. I feel like I have a really good idea what this is, however that's just my human mind at work, this could be beyond that.

We’re lucky to even hear from authentic ex-personnel like Lue and Chris Mellon in the first place. They have real skin in the game, unlike desk jockeys like Mick who have no credibility or personal risk when making accusations. But at the same time I can understand MW’s hunger for more info, but not his rudeness towards Lue..

Either Mick West is correct in his hyper-debunking and won’t be made to look a fool when it all comes out in the wash. OR. Mick is so far on the wrong end of the stick that when everything that Lue says comes to light (which is already happening), he’ll be made to look like a completely biased moron who undermined every legitimate DOD, AATIP & Airforce member that has come out to talk on this subject.

    • @martinw245
      @martinw245 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Mick West hasn't been rude. He just looks at the evidence and tries to provide a rational explanation. And that's good that he does that. We need sceptics, if we didn't analyse phenomonon we experience in an unbiased, sceptical, logical unemotional way then no fact based, technological or scientific knowledge would be manifest and we'd still be in caves.
Scepticism and individuals like Mick West are vital if we wish to get to the bottom of this phenomonon.
The problem is that too many people are desperate to believe we are visited by aliens or that an unexplainable phenomonon is at play. It gives their life's meaning and is exciting.
For the above reason we are easily fooled, so yes, scepticism is required and its a valuable safe guard against our own biases.

I personally believe that the desire for someone like Lue to disclose what he knows goes beyond mere selfish curiosity.
The kinds of revelations that Lue could offer could change the world nearly overnight, and that potential is something that gives people hope. It's a bit trite to reference hope, but in other words, it might allow people to shed their preconceptions about almost everything, most importantly about how our lives are lived and our societies managed. Lue's anger at this question is obvious every time he's asked it, and (I'm just spit balling) I think he feels shame at not being braver about it.

Being gentle and polite is critically important. One of the issues with people is that they act incredibly childish and demanding, and this is not how you get people to cooperate with you. There should not be a sense of entitlement, because this has never been "our Earth" as so many people falsely believe. The historical reference by Len Kasten must be read and studied, and fully understood, before you can develop proper bearings, and maturity. Kerry Cassidy destroys her own guests, and is an example of how to be rude, entitled, and unnecessarily confrontational. I absolutely loathe disrespectful people.

Your optimism is admirable but liable to be disappointed. The Pentagon is not in the business of education. The "unidentified" phenomenon is a headache. It falls outside "reasonable" science, and seems to indicate that physics may be vastly incomplete. Presently physicists are largely mathematically driven. They look for mathematical beauty rather empirical relevance. Empirical reality as become a hinderance to a lot of physics. What you see is a "that's impossible" response versus "how can that be?" Even worse are the folks that hopefully imagine that unidentified flying objects is the same as a space ship. These people tend to assume an explanation, rather than remaining open to the reality is that we have no direct, empirical knowledge. The "what is it?" and "how does it work?" questions are critical scientifically and pragmatically.

@Jojo Well said. I mean if one has a good proven track record one can say "trust us". But sadly their track record seriously leaves much to be desired.
It may well be that Luis is doing his best within a bad situation.
But I just don't like the feeling that people assume a position where they assume they have the right to withhold existential information from others.
Who does one answer to? God? or the U S government with it's terrible track record?
We are all without exception deeply conditioned. People in government and the ruled equally so. So this is not a blame game but a call for deep self examination for all of us.
This is a vast and mysterious universe and absolutely no one has a right to assume the position of playing games with people's minds especially if they think they're doing it in the interests of others. That is nothing short of playing God and I can imagine for many that is an unbelievably tempting power trip.

47:00. The question should not have been asked. Also, I just want to make a comment on the host pushing the issue. I think Curt was very respectful, but the question [of breaking an oath] was inappropriate. When studying this field, it's clear that every person who has tried revealing "big secrets" is now dead. There has never been a person who has revealed secret information, in violation of oaths, who is still alive. So it's incredibly short sighted to put any pressure at all on Luis to try to reveal additional information. I do feel that this was an honest mistake buy Curt, due to him being newer to this subject, and not understanding the life or death consequences of formal or informal oaths with high level organizations. By just insinuating that Luis should reveal more information, it is putting his life at risk.

Other than the very first interview he had with Erin Burnett about four years ago, this is probably the longest I'd listened to him! Very impressed! I'm not of the disclosure acclamation crowd, as I don't need some government disclosure. Apart from my own messages there have been too many good, normal and probably good-hearted citizens of this world who had done so much by disclosing their own experiences. In many cases I would take their honesty over some government many times over.
