I like the description of why certain instruments are doing certain things and how they link to the image being painted 👍

Yeah, the music needs to tell a story! And if the insturments can create images in your head thats a good thing! 😊

WOW, these videos of yours are amazing, and the shift from minor to major really had a huge impact. Good to know that these sorts of movements work well. :D

These videos are really good! It's nice that you're doing tutorials on ambient video game music. Many video game music tutorials on TH-cam are about those 8-bit/chiptune tracks that rely on melodies. But those don't work that well in many genres so I'm glad someone is making videos about composing more peaceful themes

Thank you so much! ☺️ Im planning on doing more videos like this one, but with different themes and places. All in the realm of video games. 😉

That moment when you're expecting a tutorial, but instead, you stumble upon an artist who deserves a Grammy lol.

It’s funny how different I went about my snow themes.
Mine are a lot more upbeat and adventurous, and the second one is closer to the final result of this video, making use of some string preset in LABS.
I haven’t released them yet because they’re going to be a part of my game as a special bonus for actually playing it.

dumb question but where do you get your instruments from? are they a addon or do you really play these yourself and record them? or do you use samples?

    • @EmilLudvigsenMusic

Many of the libraries used in this composition come from Spitfire Audio and Orchestral Tools. They offer a wide range of highly playable instruments, including strings, pads, choirs, and more, perfect for creating rich and dynamic sounds 😉
