When I was reading from my book, I got little confused about the dead weight loss in case the quantity supplied is larger than the equilibrium quantity.
But you simplified it nicely with a perfect buildup of the concepts from the start of the video.

Because demand and supply can't become zero (someone in the market still want the product and someone in the market producing it) so it doesn't become zero thats why it doesn't touch any axis
