OnePlus buds Z is a better option considering the specs and price. The only thing I cannot assure you is if OnePlus buds Z will fit in your ears because it doesn't have the rubber tip. So if the buds don't fit properly in your ears, you'll get ear pain and the sound quality also will be affected because of gap between your ear and the buds. Hope this answer helps.

Weird. I saw the following instruction in one of the reddit forum. Please try this. 1. Remove the earbuds from the case 2. Leave the case open and plug it into a charger 3. Leave for 2 hours or so 4. Unplug the case 5. Put the earbuds back in and check if it is resolved.
For same price range you can try 1. OnePlus buds 2. Samsung galaxy buds Also wait for OnePlus buds pro because specs are great but price is yet to be known.
