Another great reaction. Not only does Miyu have a great voice, but her vocal melodies are fantastic. Be sure to check out their many cover videos, especially the covers of songs by other Japanese bands you’ve never heard of.
Just found this band a week or two ago from youtube randomly recommending the Dissention music video, needless to say I was blown away. I especially love Oiran and Dissention because of the harsh vocals and hardcore influences, they're absolutely killing it in these songs. Can't wait to see what else they'll do in the future.
If you aren't very familiar with the J-metal scene, especially the female musicians, you should really explore it. Japan has had an active all-girl metal scene since at least 1981. Ok, you're getting pulled into the J-metal vortex--be warned, it is huge. Japan has had an active all-girl metal scene since at least 1981. This is a starter list of all-female or (in four cases, mixed, female-led) metal, punk, hard-rock and post-rock bands. It's mostly alphabetical, except for the first three, which are at the top of the list for historical reasons. They set the table for the explosion of Japanese female hard-rock, punk and metal bands.
Show-Ya (1981 The original female J-metal band, founded before Metallica-this is from their 30th (!) anniversary concert-and they are still touring): th-cam.com/video/oJ_5Gv3vFjQ/w-d-xo.html
Shonen Knife (1981 The world’s first bubblegum punk band. They have done several world tours. They also perform as a Ramones tribute band called Osaka Ramones): th-cam.com/video/w9LUlYzOiWs/w-d-xo.html

@@partogiogi6934 thanks, got to check that out!
Love no I mean love this band since I 1st heard that Trooper cover. The 2nd guitarist that played the solo is Saki a legend in the J-Metal world. Her other band Mary’s Blood is also great. I suggest you check them out in the live song, I’m Dead a fucking banger. Funny note since no one has said it yet but the drummer, Tamu was pretty along in her pregnancy Will killing that kit. Here is the link to Mary’s Blood: th-cam.com/video/de98T9QkIfs/w-d-xo.html
