We start with looking at what NFC is and how relevant is it to you as an Android user, we then move on to NFC Tags and what they can do, we then see how to program these NFC tags and take a look at the inter-device compatibility, we finally take a look at the different types of tags available and what you need to choose.

Ash, really good videos man. Considering how you started out. Although this is a bit too long to go through in one sitting. Try making 2 parts man. Finally I just programmed my tags. Be careful when there is crossover among apps- for example my battery manager turns on Bluetooth while on tag turns it off when connected to my home wifi. This made my phone hang- cleared the conflicts and we're good to go. Love it- this is so cool!

A good video describing uses for NFC tech. Most manufacturers just bundle a few tags and say it has NFC and don't go into details, neither has any tech journals I frequent. I however won't be sticking tags all over my house just to switch things on or off on my phone I can do in 2 seconds anyway.

Yea man, I've watched it. I don't know about other people but I find watching videos that are well organized well-worth the watch. This one was really good too watch - clear and I learned a few new things. Although I had to cut it towards the middle and take a small break, haha :P

2. To automatically connect with preferred wifi network among various access points pre configured on my note 3.

I can't find "NFC Task Launcher" on the Google Playstore. A search brings up many similar
apps, but not the one in your video.

I have the iNew i6000+ android 4.2.2 mobile phone. It has NFC but I don't have option to enable it. Please can you show me if my device supports it or not and can you tell me if I will be prompted of a incoming file from another NFC enabled device while using the inew i6000+ octa core phone.

When u use an nfc tag nfc tasklouncher says last used tag ..... can u clear that message without anything else happining cus i like having a clean bar thing on the top of my screen (btw i want to use it on the s4)

lol honestly was in a bad place last year december, had terrible insomnia after working nights in various bpos for 6 years, and was tweeting a frnd, she was replying via text message and told me my handle (my full name) was too big to type, so I came up with cursed4eva... then bought a note to cheer myself up, fell in love with it, but ppl around me didnt understand how gr8 it was, so tired of trying to explain to them I made a video, got encouraging comments, so continued to do so :)

what if i wanted to use it for a car dock.. like put it on the car dock it self, and i want it to open waze lets say while its touching it and change the volume of media.. but then when i take it off car dock.. so off the nfc tag.. i want it to exit waze and turn volume back to what it was, is that possible?

Hey Ash can the gt N7000 be made to get nfc. I love my note....use a lot of custom roms and really inspired by your videos. Why don't you get the i berry core x4g tab....i'm getting one. It has great specs except the camera but damn good price. Very hard to find such a price in the market. Good job keep it up.

talk to samsung bro... I paid 30k bought the galaxy camera, the clarity is better... it had a dead pixel on it and now its been with their service center for over a month... I have escalated it, ceo team called and nothing happened... no idea what to do... fingers crossed, waiting...

I am not getting this application "nfc task launcher".
pls help me in that. Send me the url for the same application.
I installed NFC Task Launcher. Mine does not have the ability to make a SWITCH to toggle volumes on and off. That is why I bough NFCs. Is there something I am missing? I can toggle WI/FI but not volumes. IS there another good programmer that makes creating switches easy. I have a new (May 1, 2013) Galaxy Note ii
Can I use Sony Xperia NFC Smart Tags with samsung Galaxy note 2?
A.) I tried to register with the cursed4ever forum but it was FUBAR because the captcha refused my first entry and then would not load anymore.
B.) The bars and restaurants -always- have a FUBAR SSID name that is usually the default SSID their router displays and then they require a key to use their WiFi.
Is it possible to program an NFC tag to enable a customer to scan and be connected to their WiFi without having to install an app on their phone or tablet?

I have a question.
I bought the google cardboard but i can't play the vr games in 360° and when i checked what's the problem, it says i dont have gyroscope system in my phone which means i cant play the vr games!
