Because I saw a TH-cam video some time ago that unfortunately I can't find again. And it wasn't that detailed and was very short, but the video claimed that you could create a great looking haircut just by twisting your hair part by part and then cutting it. The whole thing looked extremely easy & the result looked really great, but the video wasn't presented in one piece and was very short, but the result was so great that I asked myself whether it was really achieved by using this twist-cutting-technique alone or whether the haircutter secretly re-cut it and it was presented to the audience as a pure twistcut only. (a longbob getting more and more fringy in the length of the tips, don't know how to describe it exactly but pretty much similar to the haircut in your video, and longer at the front and a little shorter at the back) What I very much like about your tutorial is, that you give very useful extra information .. why you cut like you do, e.g. where you say, that you cut parallel to the head's shape and such things. The way you show your work gives a more insight view on the professional work of a haircutter. What I always love. Bc I like to RLY understand.
I would just love to have this cut . I have had the same hair style for as along time. And I'm so ready to make a new look and a change in my life . Because neither the client nor the hairdresser knows what shape you want or how to cumminicate it, because it's, kind of.. three shapes. You want a mid-length, disconnected, layered shape that has a slightly triangular perimeter (a-line). Round layerig in the crown into short to long from top of the crown. to front. If I saw the pic I'd know the shape. It's not hard when you break it down. but It would be way easier to send the link to the vid the day before your cut. His sectioning befote the cut is simple yet brillant for setting up success with the angles. I learned something from this vid.
Most pros couldn't cut this on themsrlves. I would never even try. This vid is to educate pros, and less about DIY hsircuts. Body position is evrrything snd I don't see how one could cut this on themselves. His videos prove that the hair color is great and important, but if the cut isn't good, forget it.

There is another hair guy, who shows much simpler versions for DIY, but the cut isn't as gorgeous, because not as many angles are achievable (even though some are still a little difficult to achieve), but it still beautiful.
absolutely stunning haircut and technique, I love your work and wish I could learn from you, never met anybody who is able to do anything similar to you...I do not trust any hairdresser easily anymore because there are so many unprofessionals....and always get disappointed! I style actually my long hair now myself, but of course very easy styles and not able to do these shag styles on me ..I wish I could!!! My hair is right under my chest and I would like to keep some length but still have a good change of pace from my very long blunt style with minimal face framing and a silver/purple/blonde color.
