This was the shit for me back in 2007. I remember being 6ish and almost losing my middle finger to an infection in the hospital and watching this show, eating a plate of scrambled eggs with a grin on my face from ear to ear. I hate being an adult, college sucks.
I cried watching it when I was 11 and 12 and I would probably still be doing so 2 years later. Plus, this is my number one jam along with Imagination Movers, Dinosaur Train, and Little Einsteins
I said good morning and then I said "it's a sunny day" then it led to my brain throwing up the lyrics but I couldn't recall what it was from till I looked it up lol
Just heard that Kaj Pindal passed away recently. Thanks for entertaining many youngsters including myself with the antics of these three characters. R.I.P. (1927-2019)
I haven't seen/heard my childhood in over 13 years, and being almost 19 I honestly lost a huge chunk of memories from cartoons until someone brought it up and I'm so moved to hear/see how sentimentally nostalgic these theme songs were. DEFINITELY not weird, it means you care for the little things. little bear, max & ruby, Franklin, Rolie polie olie, Bear in the big blue house, maggie and the ferocious beast, caillou, miss spiders sunny patch friends, and I knew very little of dragon tales without theme song. The BEST times getting your freedom at it's best and every one of these shows were simplistic with no technology talk, and on an oldschool box TV. Just making the most crazy experiences as simple as walking down paths and finding there friends along the way, or making so many warming plots in a memorable room/area. I wish things could just stay this classic, as everything now on kid cartoons is truly obnoxious and ugly. Peppa pig is a good example of making kids turn braindead. I'm sure I forgot a bunch of good ones, but those were 100% my most watched in the day. Sucks to say we're becoming what we never thought we would be within a blink of an eye.
It's even better with my 3 year old's version of the lyrics... "There's about a million things I could do, How'd you like me to do them to you?" ... LOL
I used to be so obsessed with this show, especially in first grade. I would tell my whole class about it, and my friends and I would play games about Peep where we pretend to be the characters. I have a massive amount of drawings of Peep and Chirp and Quack from my childhood and it was insane.
Lyrics: Well it's a sunny day, I feel brand new! There's about a million things that, I could do (Woah oh oh) Would you like to, do them too? (Yeauh) Well it's a big wide n' wide world, and it's waiting for me and you! Let's look around, what will we see? Round' every corner of discover-y (Woah oh oh) There's no place I'd, rather be! (Oh Yeah) Well it's a bid n' wide world and it's waiting for me and you!
I haven't watched this show in literally decades. I am so glad I just found it, because I could never remember what it was called! I always described it to people as the show where the little yellow bird and his friends did fun stuff, so.....yeah they all thought I was crazy and that I just dreamt of this show lmao. Time to go binge watch a children's show...
I saved this to my phone. My daughter watched it & we would actually stand up for the clapping parts-I’m a total dork & fine with it hehe! Thx for uploading this; she turns 18 in 2 wks so I get a little piece of awesome memories on call! 🥰

Oh my god, this brings back memories. I used to watch Ready Set Learn every morning before going to preschool. This was always my favorite show out of the lineup.
Man, I used to watch this show all the time when I was little. Then, years later, I saw children playing a Peep and The Big Wide World game on a computer. I'm glad kids today love this show. Those were good times. GOOD TIMES!
This is the one cartoon on qubo that I would actually sing the intro too. I miss how simple the animation was. Peep was yellow, quack was purple, and chirp was red. I miss the narrators voice. The cartoon had simple stories and plots but they were so entertaining. RIP Qubo (from 2002-2012)
My friend Gracie Anderson was such a big fan of this theme and deeply inspired. Unfortunately she has passed away at the age of 4 and this was the last thing she’s ever seen before they unplugged her support. The creators of the show saw our story and donated a gracious $10,000 as well as a performance from the fat purple one himself. (The red one couldn’t make it he was on drugs). Thank you, Peep. You have truly inspired multiple individuals and have cured cancer since. We owe it all to you. XOXO, Colton, Ethan What What and his deceased friend Greasy Anderson, who shall sing the song in the gates of the Lord above. God bless Peep and his big wide world.
I literally forgot the show had a theme song, from where I came from it aired on PBS and Pocoyo and immediately afterward, as it aired as a double package kind of thing? Literally one of my favorite shows, I remember afterwards, I would just lose interest in the channel or wait for word girl to come on. I also remember my answer to how does the chicken cross the road was "to splat the chicken!" And after watching the Peep and the Big Wide World episode it showed me that the answer was to get to the other side because peep was crossing the road with this dog character to find out the answer to the same joke.
