I've been watching your videos before I started and gave me confidence to jump in the game.. but this video brings me back to my first day and how I had to ask for help just to open the roll up door and ramp..haha. it's been a learning experience, working through a lot of mistakes, but I'm 4 months in and making 2,500-3k a week after expenses in a 2019 international. The dream is real.. thanks, vic, for sharing, and I hope one day I can help people become successful.. must feel good to give back!
@@phillipcabral5206 Bro I remember having a similar experience and the whole time the Amazon clock ticking lol!! Glad to hear things are working out for you fam!! 💪🏾💯
@phillipcabral5206 @BiggVic Good morning. Quick question. How is it possible for you to make 2,500 to 3,000 a week net? When people post screenshots of the Amazon load board I am seeing rates around $300 to $500 gross. Are you doing multiple loads per day? Or are there loads paying $1,000+ gross. I drive Uber and thinking about a box truck instead. I make $300 a day ($2,100/month working 7 days) on Uber in my area.
@sb62082 I don't work off the amazon load boards. I found a company in Iowa that pays me and 3 other drivers $900 a day in albuquerque n.m. a set rate for a 561-mile 4 stop round-trip amazon post office route. I drive 5-6 days a week. I spend 200-225 a day on gas depending on when I fill my def tank. The company deducts 250 a week in liability/ cargo insurance , 50 a week for eld ,and 100 a week for escrow. I got lucky to find this company because I'm home every day by 1:00 pm .. and still spend plenty of time with my family. There are a lot of expenses and upkeep I'm finding out about, but I'm making it work. I've spent 6k in truck repairs so far, but it's OK.. last of the business
@sb62082 so I got lucky and found a company that pays me and 3 other drivers out here in Albuquerque NM a $900 a day flat owner /operator rate for a 561-mile round-trip 4 stop post office route from amazon i do 5-6 days a week. I spend 200-225 a day on gas . The company takes 250 a week in liability/cargo insurance 50 a week for ELD 100 a week for escrow And I've put almost 6k in 4 months for truck repairs, but hopefully, I will be good to get through the holiday season.. So again, I've done just load boards out here, and it's hit n miss.. so I'm glad I have this set schedule , and I get to be home to pick up my kids from school and spend time with the family..

I met all the requirements that they ask for on the relay page for Amazon. Even my insurance agent gave me without asking what he called Amazon level insurance because he thought that I was already signed up with Amazon. My authority will be a yr old Sept 1st. Hey bro. What’s the height of your reefer truck? And the box size. About to check out and need an idea what to look out for.
13’6” Most of them especially Ryder trucks are all the same dimensions. 88 door to floor clearance.
@@BiggVic I’m about to go check one out, the guy told me it’s 12 6’. Box is 102W and 96H. Not sure if that’s enough for a start?
How much was that day of work
Are there loads you can book when your authority is less than 6 months?
Yes, but not Amazon Relay freight.
What advice you can give me? I already have the company and the insurance but no one wants to work with me because I'm new.
@@yordanfeliz Try and see who can let you lease on to their authority. Or try the Curri driver app or FraYt app. New authority isn’t an issue for those apps.
Do you allow carriers to work under your mc?
As a part of my mentorship program only at the moment.
How do you obtain the scan badge to enter the warehouse.
You’ll have to email Amazon requesting a permanent badge from within your account. ✌🏽
Hi Vic what do I need to become a driver for Amazon relay ???
To have your authority for six months or work for or with someone who’s willing to let you drive for them under their Amazon Relay account. ✌🏽
Can someone please tell me the insurance I need to have to get started as a medical carrier / box truck driver please!!
Reach out to a commercial insurance company, they will give you all of the info you need to haul medical supplies.
What is the Fees

I signed up for Amazon and they turned me down. Do you offer any courses to help with signing up?
If your authority isn’t at least 6 months active they will not let you onboard with them. They require 180 day active authority.
