3:10 The warning about lilies is very important. I'm always surprised how few cat owners know how dangerous they are. All parts of the lily are deadly poison for cats if ingested. The pollen is especially bad because of the way it can be spread. Beware of lilies in the garden too.

I've only bathed a cat once in my life. The only reason was because he'd walked under a parked car that must have been leaking oil (a lot!). So, I couldn't really let him lick that off! That's the only kind of reason that would have me bathing a cat again.

Regarding forced interactions, it really depends on the cat. Some cats dont mind it so much, like mine. I go bug her regularly, and even though I can tell that she does get a bit annoyed sometimes, but she cant help but love the attention and affection regardless. However, in such particular cases, you gotta make sure you keep it short. The thing is, she does get to plenty of personal space, but sometimes, even though she is taking some alone time, she wants me to come to her and give her attention, despite her not seeking it. She likes it when I come to her sometimes, and other times, she downright actively seeks my attention, and either runs away once I come to give her attention, or downright ignores me. She likes to play hard to get lol. Sometimes, she is alone, and I go bug her a bit, snuggling up to her and the way she reacts is priceless, its like: "ugh, this again, he is so annoying, Im just gonna let him to his thing and then he will go away and leave me alone", and then when I stop and get up to leave, she looks at me like if she was saying: "hey!! why did you stop? I didnt tell you to stop" LOL. Bottom line is, some cats dont mind being pestered a bit, they even like it to some extent, because they are lil pests themselves, like mine, which in her case, she gets plenty of payback by pestering me regularly lol

Good video 🎉but for the food and water bowl if you don’t have a lot of space in your place then it’s fine to place them side by side. And depending on how many cats you have too.

#1 I am glad that the voice over said that cats are obligate carnivores. However, all the images were of cats eating the worst thing you can feed them (kibble). A highly processed, actually lacking nutrition, and any meat that was there, was incinerated out of it long ago.
The best diet for an OBLIGATE CARNIVORE is, surprise surprise, MEAT. Ideally a raw food diet (but not raw chicken, and fish, depends what it is, and how fresh). Failing that, a premium wet food that is primarily meat. And ZERO kibble. Kibble, even as a supplementary 'food' (it's not actually food), will still lead to issues such as obesity, diabetes, kidney issues. It will take years to develop.
And the nay-sayers that always come onto these threads and say "but I can't change my cat, because xyz". Wrong. It does take a long time, two to three months minimum. There will be a lot of wasted food during the process, but the long term benefit is worth it. My new rescue had only ever been fed kibble her whole life. She was overweight, and highly likely to develop diabetes within 4-6 years. Believe me, insulin injections are not fun to give or receive. From the moment of no kibble (even during the reduction phase), the weight just came off (she looked as if she had swallowed a basket ball when adopted). First she went onto premium wet food, at first one variety, then several. After a few months, the introduction of raw red meat (a cheaper cut of beef). Cost wise, the meat works out very similar in price to premium wet food. Since getting onto the raw meat, her coat is now silky smooth, a sign of good health. Yes, it can be done, even with a cat who has only been fed the kibble junk food. And no, kibble is not 'good for teeth'. Raw meat is good for teeth. So if you want to avoid feline dentals, raw meat is the answer.

They can get caught in rugs or furniture and trap the cat or cause damage and infection if ripped away improperly. And like the video stated they can grow curved into the paw. It's not the same a de-clawing at all so really not a big deal.

Elderly cats often don't sharpen their claws so much. It is very painful when the nail grows back into the pad. Owners need to be aware and check for this.

I once had ran out of my Maia's favorite dry food, it was Saturday, and I wasn't finished at my job before the pet shops closed.
So, I went to my local store where I get my frozen pizza, and got her a bag of Whiskas dry food.
She didn't even have one taste of it.
I read the label, and understood why.
So on the coming Monday, I went to the pet store and got her Acana dry food.
The kind she is supposed to have.
