    Thank you so much. I'm in the early stages of planning a 4 month trip around Europe and the UK and I hadn't even THOUGHT of getting a travel money card

      Four months is far too long for a Europe trip. You will be mentally over it after two weeks. Studies show peak pleasure is on day 8.

    The fact you only have 10k subscribers is a crime.

    10:51 Have you ever used an eSim card? I’m planning on using Airalo on my next Europe trip. Seems easier than getting a new SIM card at every new country I visit

      I tried to use an eSIM on my current trip but my phone wasn't compatible. I think it seems like a good option! I hope you can make it work for you

      Get an Europe-wide SIM card in a local store. e-sim is convenient but so much more expensive. Usually those EU-wide sim is cheaper, good for 7/14/30 days, 25/50/100 GB for the issued country and maybe 10/20 GB for the rest EU, for only €20-40.

    Do you really need to pull out and carry cash in Europe? Or do they not take cards like in the States?
    Also, could you recommend a SIM card plan I could preorder? Or do I have to wait until Im in Europe to purchase?
    (Will be backpacking soon, thanks for your help!)

      Depends where you go! In big cities like London etc you can def pay everywhere with card. But then when i was in Central Europe (Albania, Croatia, rural parts of Greece etc) , a lot of places didn't take card.

    How do you go incognito when booking flights?

    • @JourneyWithJemima
      @JourneyWithJemima  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use Chrome as my browser - just go File > New Incognito window. I think other browsers have similar functions!

      Can also use the shortcut CTRL + SHIFT + N when you're in a google chrome window

    Does thailand have eftpos

    • @JourneyWithJemima
      @JourneyWithJemima  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can use eftpos/CC at bigger hotels, restaurants, 7-11s, etc. But a lot of smaller food places are cash only - we found it easier to just use cash, and used CC for long hotel stays and supermarket shops
