I'm 90% sure that my next car will be a Jimny in that lime green. The gloss grey looks pretty neat too. Love the size of it, and as you say, most of the time there's only ever going to be one or two people in it.
Once again you came through and reviewed the Jimny like many(?) of us wanted - one of the main reasons why you're clearly the best car related channel on TH-cam. Thanks, Thomas!
Edit. I don't even understand why I want the Jimny so bad - I've never even driven off road and probably never will, but there's just something really cool about it.

Just look at those windows. They are big. Old style SUV big. For some reason almost all of today's SUVs have tiny windows. Why would anyone wants a tall car with tiny windows? Suzuki looks amazing.

Credit to Peugeot for taking risks but I'm not sure how "rubber-less glass and metal window" is going to be on the long run though and what is the obsession with power window switches placed on the centre console? Reminds me of a Renault Logan

My phone just watched this while I was a sleep and I'm not sure if it's worth to watch it again 😅😂
It would seem that (as with most in-vehicle satellite based navigation systems) it isn't able to process the destination requests or load the cartography graphics as quickly as it would if it were outside. Hence why it picked a destination in central "Berlin" as "Berlin" is a large city, and not an address, like of a business, or POI within the city of "Berlin."

I love the Jimny. It’s so awesome to see a car designed so specifically for a purpose. I guess it’s the equivalent of the MX-5 for its segment. The Japanese are good at perfecting these niches.

This seems like the new version of the Suzuki Samurai. those things are still around with 200 to 300k miles. Im really liking this Jimny. Id like to see more rugged offraod accessories on one. If they promote this well I see it being very popular as long as they keep the price low. I think people are getting tired of the rise of pricing on vehicles now days.
Until the chip shortages issue is resolve all these new cars are all concepts calls. And dealers will mark up 20k for each vehicular new or used
I wish we would get the A35/A45 AMG hatchback in the USA.
Damn, so if you want a quality 3 series, you’ll probably want to buy it early before they start producing them in Mexico and elsewhere. I’ve noticed the BMW’s that are certified built in Germany have less superficial problems like panel gaps, rattling etc.
I was kinda disappointed you didn't get to drive the Jimny two weeks ago when they did an open drive near Frankfurt, in your home country Thomas, but you made up for it, at least half way at the show! I can see at your 6'2 inches, it looks pretty small when you stand next to it. This car looks so different when you compare it to the shorter reviewers who have presented it so far! I'm 6'3 and look forward to see if you properly fit when it is actually driven. Please do a full review of the new Jimny as soon as possible. As you can see from your comments here, it's a popular machine 👍👊
We ll try to get one for driving as well. Suzuki Germany mainly focuses on print media for reporting, they are a small and very conservative importer organisation in Germany.

Oh yeah, I have something to tell you guys about the Vinfast car. When I read the news about it, I was thinking this is like a GM cars with BMW technology.
The CEO is James B. Deluca (former GM CEO), the head of design is David Lyon (also a former GM designer). Also, Vingroup bought the GM Motors Vietnam - so in the near future, all of the GM dealers in Vietnam will be change into Vinfast dealers. Quite an interesting tatics

Most (if not all) retro designs are less aero dynamic than the modern designs therefore those cars are less fuel efficient than modern ones (all other parameters being equal). They are from a time when fuel efficiency was less important than now when fuel prices were much cheaper.

GLE should come updated with the times, they need an all out “Bro” model for urban rappers. Put some 24” on them with a 5,000 watt sound system. The wheel wells can also be illuminated. Makes a better car for videos.

Awesome tour of the motor show. I like the design evolution of the Mercedes brand. Suzuki should definitely make a soft top version if the Jimny. This particular Tesla Model 3 was the performance variant with acceleration of 3.3 (as tested by some reviewers) to 60 mph. Perhaps 3.6 to 100 km/h.

It takes 7x the time to get from 0-100kph then a Porsche 918
4x the time for the new Carrera S
5 seconds slower than a Nissan X Trail, for 7k more you get more off road skills, more performance, and more practicality

The rumor is that if you film at 60fps their won't be any screen views flickering. You could only test it.
We do 60p, it more has to do with the shutter speed of the camera. However in some cases, they still flicker

Haha that Mercedes GLE is only set for Germany. Does it really differentiate between driver and passenger? The retro Peugeot e-Legend Concept please. Thinking about VinFast, China is winning USA. I don't get the 8-series, it's not luxury like S-class coupé or sporty like 911. Kodiaq RS is spot on only one down side and that's three letters - TDI is totally banned in a near distant future.

Well done! Your scope of vocabulary is phenominal - pure descriptive. I have always prefered German English to French or 'Froglish'. Cars are so advanced nowadays, but more scope for failure, and when it fails you just buy another Mercedes! Where is the Mercedes of yesteryear that lasted 20+ years and was far more reliable? What is funny is your command to navigate to the 'next dealer' - and there are none! She doesn't always understand your English ;-) So perhaps best to set the language to German in your case ;-)
